24k ap... Nope Not a fair cost in my opinion unless you already have everything maxed out I guess(I feel like Nexon added an extra 0 by mistake).

24k AP for a 1.2-1.5b weapon?
I'd take that deal in an instant.
Assuming a price of 1.5b for a double r9 +10 Lv. 80, that's effectively trading each point of AP for 60k gold.
That and you get a 400m profit from blowing up 80s now since you get to keep the leftover Fangs.
Trust me, there are a lot of people who have everything maxed out. And these people are usually the ones who even would use this system to begin with.

Limit increased to 50k.
Helpful translated table
http://luxtguild.com/mabinogi-heroes-news/new-weapon-restore-system-in-mabiheroes/?nxid=15
Some conflicts with this other table I found, but it should get you an estimate.
Base cost is 1000 AP. Each change adds the following to the AP cost:
If it is fused = +2000
If it's a weapon = +10,000
Level:
Lvl 20-39 = +500
Lvl 40-49 = +1000
Lvl 50-59 = +2500
Lvl 60-69 = +4500
Lvl 70-79 = +6500
Lvl 80 = +9500
Quality:
3* = +1000
4* = +1000
5* = +2000
Enchantment:
r9 scroll = +1000 per
Enhancement:
+9 = +500
+10 = +1500
+11 = +4500
+12 = +7500
+13 = +12500
+14 = +19500
+15 = +30500

If Nexon made a mistake and added an extra 0, then 2.4k AP is way too easily obtainable (2-3 hours of nightmare AP grind).

So its gonna takes about 6 years for meditation AP to cap.
lol

Would it be better if I said it was 125 hours of 3 minute per cycle Laghodessa runs?
No?

20ap every 3 minutes
20 runs every hour
Thats 400 ap every hour.
so every 3 hours youd gain about 1.2k ap
6 hours (if you can stand grinding for that long in one sitting) is 2.4k ap
And im not even counting the amount of time it takes to set up the boat and go. so i would say every 4-5 minutes is a more realistic number.
So imagine the amount of time id cost you to have to grind for all the ap you need to restore a weapon.

It's 24k AP, there's no doubt about that. This isn't an error by Nexon at all. Any screenshot from the Korean servers will show the exact same values.
Again, this is a system targeted towards "endgame" players. A +12 weapon already easily puts you into the 14k Att range, which is what most people are aiming towards. This just helps get to that point by using a resource that a lot of "endgame" people have plenty of. I mean I know a lot of people are citing Laghodessa farming right now, but I've been getting close to 1k AP each day from just raiding and doing dailies. That's still less than a month of regular raiding/farming to get a restore.
The alternative is spending 125 hours running raids/farming drops hoping to make 400m-1b. Which also isn't a very attractive option.

This will just be so pointless when they introduce +10-15 runes.
You know they're comming.

Should it be easy to restore a +10 DOUBLE r9 enchanted Lv 80 weapon? No.
I'm just saying 2.4k would be too little, but 24k is still a lot imo.

Yeah.
If it was too little, then more people would be restoring untradeable weapons. I'd be messing with the market.

Weapons can only be restored 1 time, which i feel would both downgrade the value of the weapon (assuming that the weapon is still tradeable through unbinding potions) and discourage the player from trying again. I would see a more fair trade off ap being something with in the 8-10k range since the process is not repeatable anyways.

8-10k AP feels acceptable for a Lv. 60 weapon. Anyone can easily craft one and 8-10k isn't remarkably hard to get.
Btw, I recall that pic coming from Darkvoidz on the Vind forums and he said it's permabound after restoring.
You also keep the half the mats from exploding (2 Lakiora fangs), so the high AP is reasonable.

So if you blow it up twice, do you get all the materials back?
Once normally, once on the restored version.
