Whatever you end up buying, you'll probably do less gaming on it than you think.
And then you'll have wasted a ton of money on some overkill hardware.
Thats my opinion anyways. I don't know why people keep trying to go for super smartphones when the ones from 5 years ago are still good for just about everything other than playing DEAD SPACE MOBILE.

Someone mentioned the Razr Maxx HD, I would recommend that one. I personally have the non HD model (so just the Razr Maxx) and I love it. The battery life is amazing and the phone is very nice. It doesn't lag or anything.

could I still play games on emulators with lower end smartphones?

You can for most emulators, except the Sega Dreamcast emulator I saw which lags on almost anything right now.

To me it does, which is why I can't stand Samsung phones. I like HTC phones with their rubberized polycarbonate, it feels more like skin so it is very comfortable to hold. Aluminum is also nice, but not as and gets cold. Glass is just eh... As for the Razr Maxx's Kevlar, I rate it along with aluminum, but that's me. Everyone's preference is different.
You should feel the blackberry z10's case. It's very soft and more comfortable than the HTC phones.
But if you get a good case, you might not be touching the back

I tried holding a Z10 in my hands and I found I much preferred my Nexus One's backing to still. But that's me. I also prefer the One X and DNA's backs to it, again personal preference.

I wouldn't agree personally.
Hundreds of good games for emulators.
The Bard's Tale.
Destroy Gunners.
Dead Space.
N.O.V.A.
Plague Inc.
Zenoia (series)
Robo Defense

Personally, I want to play those games from the Asian mobile app market. They look so fun.
So I wonder if they're region locked or if I can still get them.

meh, now I don't know if I should wait until May or June for Galaxy s4 or just buy the s3 or razr maxx hd now.
-
Evaris wrote on 2013-02-27 16:41
Skip the S3 entirely, the Droid DNA has better battery life, processor, screen, and sound quality. The only thing the S3 has is an SD slot but I'd doubt you'd use it. The RAZR Maxx HD is still a better buy than the S3. The way the tech world is, there is always something better just around the corner, so I recommend buying now while you can.

Wait till the event is over when all the features/specs are announced. I know the S4 will have android 4.2.2 and a 13mp camera for sure. If you don't like the specs I suggest the Droid DNA.
