I'll just say this build looks really silly with premiums such as the P8Z77 Deluxe MOBO, all those fans and a huge 2TB HD without even having a dedicated GPU... Also RAM is better in pairs (so a 2x4gb > 1x8gb).
I'd prioritise the CPU,GPU and a decent PSU so it doesn't fry. Everything else you can cutback on as long as it works and it's compatiable.
I didn't throw it together so about everything I say will be from assumption/personal knowledge. I know that the mobo was chosen due to the fact the original person who picked the parts together was intending to overclock it rather far and achieved a 5 Ghz stable OC. There's only one fans so I have no idea where you're imagining more than one fan. The 2 TB hard drive could be toned down and is cheaper than a 1 TB hard drive from WD so I don't see whats the fault. The games listed aren't very GPU dependent but I would agree that his choice of no GPU was rather odd. Also RAM in pairs is about 1-2% increase in performance compared to a single dimm.

The build that I posted previously would be just fine. Of course you can change the Shinobi to a 200R and pop in an optical drive and if OP is too lazy to install a hyper 212 evo and doesn't care too much about thermals ( really only matters if he will OC ) and sound ( still reliant on OCing pretty much ) he can take the saved ~$30 and go buy a Gtx 660 or a 7870 (maybe Ghz if its found for cheap enough ).
