Like i said, mana shield was already overbuffed before, having this overbuff it again is going to instigate a nerf some point in the future
That was the first thing that I thought of.
However, if you read the thread in detail you'll see that the balance stat is getting a rework, which makes all of that sadly invalid.
Overshadowing that is ALCHEMYYYYYYYYYYYY

They are not changing what balance actually does, they only thing they changed was the balance to dex ratio.
But like they are not nerfing any of the other skill sets. The only thing they have done was if you want to be a Puppetier and Archer you can still wear heavy armor but your damage will be nerfed abit just like if human and elf fighters were to use heavy armor which is something I had to deal with when i made my switch from melee to fighter.
ALSO They added piercing damage I assume that this heavy armor draw back is a chance for them to balance out the extra damage that people are going to have if they choose to be tanky.
So in fact they are actually buffing all the classes by introducing this new defense piercing protection rework. especially Hybrids that have stats all across the board.

So nobody can explain the repair cost changes that was brought up but never explained?
They're cheaper.
Lol. Yeah i just read the change part. To balance. Maybe now it will actually be more beneficial to have capped Balance.
Anyways GG people who want to do a shit ton of damage and be the tankiest you can be at the same time.
