lol you need a slap for that statement ^^. I think your confuse.
But he's correct. And even if you did have two oblivion accessories to give yourself an extra 27+ damage per accessory, is it still really worth 50k per point to repair?
Well, I guess for people that have hundreds of millions of gold lying around, it doesn't matter. But for the other 90% of mabinogi that can't afford to throw around 600-1mil around every so often to repair two accessories or spend an extra 10-20mil to buy new ones, it does matter.

How is anyone spending more than 50k a week per accessory on repairs? Heavy armor repairs are more expensive than that.
I've used precise lillies, oblivion fierces, oblivion avengers, steel needle lillies, etc over the years and the costs are negligible while the stat boosts are significant.
ALSO YOU GUYS AND CAT FORGET we get to make enchantable accessories that come with +10 to every stat that cost 18k a point per repair in g18 with the new skill :l
Also, the whole heavy armor + accessory thing is a lot more balanced in KR where they don't have fancy fierce, steel needle or avenger accessories like we do. Best they can do is obliv swarming/lilly/earthquake.

While everyone was complaining about the Dexerity penalty and the Accessories problem...
I'm still worried about the new formula for Magic because it made Magic hit more lower than it should be since it only apply to one charge... not to each charge like it should've been... same for Alchemy.
Hope they fix that for the next patch in testing server.

I know this is really random, but my shieldless charge accessory goes down in dura FAST. I've repaired it 3 times this past week already and I'm not really that active LOL. My other accessories don't lose dura that quickly, and I wear them just as often.

I hope so too, it wouldn't make sense to give fireball 10 times the multiplier of IS. One thing I fear is that mages will be expected to push out around 50~100 mana/second to deal adequate damage. I haven't really had much faith in devCAT since genisis.

Really? I haven't noticed that with my shieldless charge accessory at all. I only have to repair 1-2 point each week and I make enough from commerce to more than cover that cost.
Most players who sport 2 accessories are high enough to be able to afford it. If you are a newbie, don't do it.

Yeah... I have been a Mage player for a LOOOOOOONG time. DevCat better not fuck it up and make us do lower damage because of the new formula.
Better hope for this Thursday or something and see if DevCat changed the formula in order to make the magic attack APPLY for each charge (with exception of Fireball), not only one.

Not really. The new skills may make magic overpowered, if that were the case.
People jumping to conclusions too fast.

Unless they effect IS in a different way from fireball or something along those lines, it would create a gross in-class imbalance. Jumping to conclusions is what we do best. ;l

1. Oblivion Fierce accessories would potentially increase my Arrow Revolver damage by 4125 damage.
2. Accessories lose durability very slowly.
While I knew about the new accessories, I didn't know that they only cost 18k to repair. Thanks for the information.
I'll have to stockpile AP for the new lifeskills.

If you're retuning 60x damage on max, why do you need them? It's still under 10%, correct?
I can see why someone might choose to use accessories, but the point is no one really needs them. Sorry for derailing the thread.

I guess you don't want to level faster, solo peacca or defeat master bandits in commerce mode or clear MA quicker. Every little bit helps.

I can do all of those without trouble though. If you're willing to give me a pair of Oblivion Fierce accessories I'll be sure to wear them for you though.

But to do them faster :/
People like to do things faster and more efficiently.

This is true, but Mabi is a role playing game.
Some people would rather do it the way that's fun to them.
Even if gunner was a terrible skillset, I'd still do it because it's appealing/fun to me.
It's the same reason why I still main magic more than half the time.
If everyone did the efficient skills, all we'd see is rangers, puppeteers, and fighters.
