when to stop ranking herbalism / potmaking?

Rank 9 herbalism and rank A pot making for spike enchants to work (also because rank A to 9 pot making is a complete pain in the ass to train)

metallurgy?? just adds 4 dex if you rank it all the way to rank 6. it adds some stamina, but right now, with prod mast a, i have 200 stamina, which is more than enough for me. plus, since some suggested ranking prod mast to 1, ill have even more stamina. so really, i dont need to relearn those skills for my main. the only good thing is herbalism for spike, but i doubt ill be using that.

Whenever you ever reach r1, you get a total of +11 dex and +21 int. Sure, +11 dex isn't a lot, but if you want every "easy" dex you can get, herbalism is definitely the way to go. All it requires is for you to just pick some herbs from dungeons/herb pet. You can do it slowly as well. Pot making also adds a small amount of dex as well for a small amount of AP. People who really want dex usually do these lifeskills.

Not to mention, you are more likely to run dungeons on your main than on your lifeskill character.

Life Skills are mostly for End Game stats where people who have mastered their primary combat/magic skills expand themselves into life skills (and alchemy imo). If you want Int and Dex, there are other skills that are more efficient than herbalism and pot making, but when players have most of their stuff ranked out, it's just a little side things for them.:mad:
