  If that's your first thought when you hear "craigslist ad", I guess an exposure therapy may be in order. Or maybe you're subconsciously grasping at straws because you fear the change for its negative potential? Either way you're not really helping yourself by remaining in the status quo.
  
  My mom wrote this nice aphorism in the bath (I guess she put those there because that's where she tend to sit without being concentrated on much else), dunno her source: "Change doesn't necessarily make things better, but things have to change to get better." Well, in German and less stupid sounding.

  Or maybe things really are that bad down in the south? I live up North, people are really friendly and trusting. Craigslist is pretty casual. It doesn't mean you should be blindly trusting, but if stranger danger is so up front on your mind, you're putting yourself in a much more difficult position.

  I'm surprised no one tried to challenge this in court. Even in Georgia, I am sure that the school organizers would be screwed pretty hard for this.

  Everyone is nice when you're not part of the groups they don't like. Even Hitler was nice with the right people. Stalin probably too. Maybe even Robespierre up to a certain point.

  The further down you go, the worse these things get. And Macon is in the middle-south of GA. Hell, schools dont care about that sort of thing around where I live, and that's north GA. Unless everyone in their community starts raising hell, or if pressure is put on the police dept. I dont think anything's gonna change.

  For a state, or even a country to allow this to happen on such a scale within its borders is pretty disgusting. This isn't like one guy being racist or a private group/company refusing to do anything with black people... it's a school, which is part of the government. The rest of the country needs to force the south to get their shit together.

  It's legal, cause it's not public, if anyone read the article, you would know, that it's strictly private, which means their rule's. You don't have to like it, but it is their right to do so.
