Another reason I'm probably going to be irritated about these bombings pretty soon is all the racism that tends to come with it
Literally just saw a headline from the NY Post saying that Boston P.D. had detailed a suspect "of Saudi nationality."
First of all, blatantly false: no suspects yet.
Second: way to jump the gun. They reported 12 dead 5 minutes after it happened, then they have the audacity to say the non-existent suspect is from the Middle East.
Way to go, New York Post.

[S]Somewhere in North Korea, Kim-Jong Un is bawling on the floor saying he wanted to do that.[/S]
But seriously, this is the lowest thing a person can do. Using weapons to take out unarmed civilians? Despicable. There's nothing that can justify this short of a severe mental disorder.

There's nothing to justify this at all. Mental disorder or not, something like this is just evil and sick.

It sounds trivial, but this is probably the saddest thing i've read today:
"Mass gen reporting 10 runners with legs amputated. Passionate, avid runners leaving without their legs. Horrible."
I don't know what else to say.

And to make it worse..
RT @globegideon: Some of 64 injured in Boston #Marathon blasts have had limbs amputated, hospitals report. #marathonbdc
Also just saw a video where they were wheeling out an old lady who had both of her legs blown off from the knees and below. I honestly have no words for it.

We cause thousands of casualties overseas and no one gives a shit which is disgusting
I am sympathetic to those who were hurt, but I am disgusted by the way the media is treating this compared to what we do

There are 2 children at one of the hospitals nearby, including a 3 year old at Children's.
Goddamn.
And there were families from Newtown right at the VIP area there. They got away, but this marathon was dedicated to the victims.
Obama is coming on now.

Obama makes me proud to be an American
His 3 minute speech seemed heartfelt

I don't even feel anything towards them because they're so irrational and ignorant that this is actually the first time I've laughed or smiled in the past 3 hours.

You know, if I could punch people through the computer, the people who posted those comments would be the first.

Just having a glance at their twitter makes more angry than fucking anything.

Yeah, it's best to try and avoid places that disgusting fucks like these pop up on. I know I'm going to have to ignore my ignorant hick of a neighbor later today once he starts spewing racist comments and automatically blaming it on non-whites.
The terror of this event may or may not be over, too. I haven't seen anything about those other supposed devices located around Boston. I'm just hoping that the bad events are kept at a minimum. This has been horrendous enough as it is.
