Not even gonna lie, that battle looks fun!
Just hope it isn't so frustrating.

Probably best just to use Life Drain just to restore HP for the fight. And Spark....probably wouldn't help much in this fight unless you're a meleer too with some Brionac dura to spare.

Golem may have a bit of use but the fact you're forced to remain still while controlling means you're just a sitting duck for the boss' attacks.

I highly doubt it is hard at all. Just spam pots if you get hit, and abuse those Thoroughbreds.
If you don't have Thoroughbreds, then good luck to you.
We will probably have a few people finishing the generation tomorrow since there isn't too much time today left after patch. Maybe.

That video must be of Basic mission, since a single Spear of Light took out the Head :/

It's going to be hard for mages, You can't use any of you're Adv magic since you're forced to stand still and there's no knock back for blaze to work with. You're only tactic would cc Firebolt and then you're still frozen to one spot for 2 sec at a time.
Though something I did see from someone that used Firebolt is that if the Body is recovering and your attack sends it back to 0 Hp that the head gets redowned. (Mean you're attacking it while it's HP is recovering and do enough damage to wipe out the HP that's already recovered.)

Actually, the guy had Brionac and Spark already at an unknown rank. Brionac powers up Spear of Light considerably and Spark does the same for Spear and even Brionac itself. I heard it could one-shot Peaca normal/basic mobs with a spear with the two combinations so the damage multiplier is probably most likely over 2x somewhere.
And what are mages going to do about the Fire Uroboro? It could possibly be fire element which may render CC firebolt less effective. Otherwise, the three other heads may go down fairly easily.

Still each head on Hard mode has 12k Hp, even with a 2x multiplier it wouldn't just take one hit. Maybe for Int lvl with just 5k Hp per head.
If the Fire Uroboro is fire elemented then, you'd probably have to resort to pet Smash and fail Mage smash or using IS with it's short cast time. But using IS will take really good timing and planning of your attacks. (Short range and immobility.)

It's a difficult mission.
Their breath attack prompts are pretty ambiguous (Well, at least, it was for me.) So I couldn't tell whether they'd decide to fire around the center, or at the center.
This alone led to pretty much all of my deaths while doing G11 final.
Though something to note is that their ranged (but non-breath) attacks don't hit you until they explode, and they all seem to be aimed at where you WERE when they were about to use their attacks. Which makes it easier, since you don't have to worry about getting hit by running through the attack.

If I'm reading the JP wiki correctly (Which might not be the case with Google translate and all) it seems like Uroboros doesn't have any elemental aliance. Can someone who've fought him confirm this please?

That's pretty much a demonstration of the wiki's "exceeds Fireball's range" statement.

I'll upload how a mage does hardmode this week. But basically its a mix of firebolt chainwand, Blaze, WM, and tank.

That would be really interesting. Although I still have a low rank in Blaze and I doubt there's really other Mages that can tank like you do.

Zyrus might be able to tank Uroboros breath but magic is easily outclassed by melée and range in this fight. Elves can QQ about G10 but this boss fight is easy for them.
Side note: I'm a fan of the boss music.

Why would elves QQ about G10?
