Uroboros is hard?

  You don't need too much of a tanking ability for Hard.
  
  On Hard difficulty, the damage can range about 50-400. That's easily tankable.
  
  I'm planning to do the same thing, Mana Shield/CC+4 Firebolt abuse. If Fire Uroboros is Fire-elemental, I have my entire melee set as backup. Then again, I'll be killing the Fire Uroboros first with Melee before -Str Pot Poisoning start to kick in. Very doable in under an hour.
  
  Ranged benefits from wounding and mount-shooting (if Elf), from what I can tell. Other than that, I don't see very much of an advantage that Ranged has over all the other skill sets.

  The huge range breath attack is dodgable, there are certain safe spots for each time it does the attack.
  (Posted in that vid earlier in the thread!)
  So in theory it's possible to do the whole final without ANY damage.
  I highly doubt someone can do that though.

  Thank goodness for barrier spikes. I'm an elf user that didn't QQ over that except the zombies did take quite a while.

  This is probably most essential in tanking Uroboros.
  
  Red and Yellow ones are explosion breath, thus explosion resistance would reduce their attack severely
  
  Blue is poison and White is slowness.
  Mana shield r6 with 50 defense/protection sum is pretty much enough to tank the uroboros.

  Would it be smart to go from 20 Def and 14 Prot to 10/6 for the explosion resist? (Adv Level, btw)

  cuz explosion resistance takes away a lot of damage. (is it like 10%?)

  but for the final, you will probably enter at 5:00am with trans so you will have plenty defense/protection.
  
  besides the standard I set is for hard mode, for adv you will be fine.

  It doesn't seem too hard. The strong breaths appear to be the only hard part. I view it more as a big epic fight rather than a challenge. The challenging parts go to the rest of the generation missions, anyways.
