I'm at Goddess Needle, and I can't seem to defeat the Python Knight. With my best attempt, I transformed and ranged spammed it. I got him down to about 1/6 health, he summoned on me. With those stupid lightning spamming shamans and a warrior hitting me, the Python Knight hit me with the freaking 1-hit Shadow Spirit. I used an ADV feather since I was so close, but I didn't manage to do much damage because he was surrounded by about 10 of those python guys. If only I had Arrow Revolver already, but no one seems to have page 4! This is so frustrating! A guild member mailed me some poison, so I'm hoping he can be poisoned! If anybody has any tips, please share! Does WM spamming keep him from using Shadow Spirit or summoning?

If you have a bow, can't you try luring him away from his army?
I used thunder to accomplish this.

the way i did the mission for both sections without pulling aggro -at all- from the little guys, was
p1 - just pull him in with some ranged attack/icebolt, and run him down the bridge, then fire counter until he does his shadow spirit
if he spawns more units, just run further down
when you hit the ground, he will leash back the top, which is the perfect time to clear the bridge from all enemies, then repeat
p2 - this time i just cleared everything right off the bat with windmill (thunder might work too, i guess)
do not worry about using shadow spirit yet, just clear everything, its simplier that way
then i went on to pull him down to half way down the bridge, and waited for him to spawn units
as soon as he did, i pulled him the rest of the way so he leashed and started walking back slowly to the center
at this point, i went ahead and killed+drained all the units on the bridge, then used them on him
from here, i duelled him in the center, when he spawned units i simply pulled back to the bridge, when he spawned again, i pulled further in, etc
this avoids all aggro.
makes this mission extremely easy.

Honestly, the missions with the NPCs felt like the easiest to me. I just took some time to heal them up a bit and bandage them up so they can life drain.
The frozen blast spam made everything stupidly easy, especially on the shadow commander, he was permanently frozen.
For Goddess needle, I just hid behind barrier spikes until the python knight used shadow spirit on me, didn't even see the need to kill the other mobs until I had to use shadow spirit on him. After that, I just spammed my rF magnum+spear of light behind barriers with the infinite demigod time.

I noticed that using demigod during the 2nd part did not cost exp. Is that the same with spear and fury?

Buchanan mission. Another attempt after the god knows how many times I've died.
Doing great so far. No lag. No disconnections.
Transformed twice so far in distress, got through everything.
Almost halfway through. Cai and Leymore at full health so far.
White orb room comes, doing OK.
Spawn starts to get overwhelming. I use Demi for the first time ever and Fury/Spear of Light those b-tches.
Room cleared.
Another regular room or 2, then a second white orb room. Transform again.
Spawn starts to get overwhelming again, so I hit the Demi hotkey..
Huge lag spike.
Dead.
all of my hate.

Get someone to help you. Ever since the Royal Alchemist deal came out, G11 has come so much more easier.

the Buchanan mission doesn't allow you to take a royal with you.
