OUROBOROS IS A JOKE.
I was going to make a full guide on where all the safespots for its giant breath attack are, but it doesn't do that anymore.
So it was just run around, dodge occasionally, punch punch punch. You can do it barehand.
Is it just me doing intermediate mode?
Finally, another person who agrees that uro is easy.
I did mine in Hard Mode and it was superrr easy.

Mine spammed those giant breath attacks like they were on steroids.
So much death due to those.
I can't tell if I was just extremely unlucky or if I was in the middle of an AI fix.

It was strange because my g11 final had the Uborous spamming those giant breaths. Then 2 more times when I was helping someone via royal alchemist (I didn't notice a pattern of those giant breaths yet).
2 more g11 finals later, he didn't even use those giant breaths at all. Then he did the giant breath again the real last time I fought him but I already knew that pattern and I could beat it without using naos.

Uroboros is pretty easy after figuring out how it fights o.o Took 30 seconds each head so about 2 minutes to kill him on Hard :S + The time it took to figure out the AI

Of course archer elves have a huge advantage in this fight! Just use mount archery and then when the head falls, you can fit in 2-3 mags depending on your ping and if you have 100+crit+trans. That's very easy.
Since the majority of players are human, we don't get that luxury. Can fit in only one smash and then an N or maybe a wm before the head recovers which of course, has less dps.

you can easily fit a smash before the head recovers.
Besides, the best combo is ohko smash the body, then spear of light the head.

I didn't even had trans activated lol... And Giants/Humans can land smash and windmill before head gets up again doing that 2x SHOULD kill it

2-3 Mags > Spear of Light (Without Brionac dunno about with) :S Pretty sure 1 Mag is already stronger

ew 2-3 mags to kill the body?
and I meant this combo for humans not elves. Sorry for the confusion. It is pretty much well known that elves are absolutely best at this mission.

Even a Human should be able to do almost the same damage as an Elf it's just slower and Smash+Windmill should do more damage than Spear of Light but that really depends on the character I guess
Well 1 Normal Range for Body 2-3 Mags for Head on Hard :S Lagless Elf should be able to do Hard in less than 2 minutes if strong enough.
Just did ADV took 2 Mags for Head killed every head before body was able to regenerate :3
Since I'm not maxed out in Archery yet an Elf Archer with max dex and campfire probably can 1 Hit Kill all Heads on ADV

Not everyone can smash for more than 1200 or mag for more than 6k. If your "combos" are damage reliant I might as well say hit the head for 12k dmg. Battles get significantly get harder as the battle drags on. If you get the chance, try redoing the battle without equips on and see if you can still win using the same amount of potions and revives as you did when you hard your equips on.

Well I guess fumy and I were bragging a bit about our damage. And I'm sure we can do that since this isn't on a guide thread.
But the point of our posts are that uroboros aren't that hard. You just have to pay attention to its head. It has same head pattern as neid.

I might not understand that full head blast attack animation but to me it feels like the attack animation is much shorter then the smash attack animation. Thus if one of the heads starts an attack right after I smash there is nothing i can do to avoid getting hit.

If the final was so easy, try handicapping yourself like I did.
Human speed - no mounts + melee only = fun

the animation is quite long.
I think I am going to record it when I become a royal alchemist this saturday.
