Rift's going F2P in a week, so you could try that. Aside from some general WoW mechanics, it's more known for random group content where mobs spawn in (somewhat) random times to claim an area of the world, and for its "classless" system where you can take abilities from many classes and build your own (Sort of like Mabinogi, but with an AP cap).
I suppose you could always try Ragnarok Online 2, but...

Rofl, ask people for advice on which mmos to play and it becomes a debate on which mmo sucks the least.
PSO1 was a huge grind. The total level is 198 and it can take over 500 hours of total playtime to get to that.

500 hours is actually not a lot if you think about it.
Must have spent like 5k+ hours on mabi and 3k+ on maple without even reaching the end.
