Shock, Frozen Blast and Heat Buster revamp?

  That's right. The wave version of shock is the same as casting thunder.
  
  However, the regular version, not so much.

  they fixed shock with the first alchemy revamp if i recall.

  The top two golem buttons are not skills,
  The Left button is "Physical attack" the golem attacks the enemy with a normal attack
  The right button is "Move to me" the golem moves towards the summoner.
  
  When clicking the AI button the golem will "watch" the enemy, if they load smash it will attack it, if the enemy is running it will stomp.
  
  I think if the player moves near the golem it will load windmill....not sure what else it does.

  I wish Barrier Spikes got a buff from Elemental Wave. Knock enemies away and then summon a ring of spikes like an NPC (I think it was Lennox) did in a C3 cutscene.
