Well I hope we all know the EU would be the best predecessor to the USA if there had to be one. :cheer:
Not like that means all that much with those contestants.
Quote from BobYoMeowMeow;1121930:
The rebels achieved revolution with a different government than what they wanted.
That's why you don't rebel for a humanist cause in a backwards society. Or at least don't let the fundamentalists take charge without so much as a fight.
The Rebel campaign, which spearheaded the 30 June protests that toppled former president Mohamed Morsi, and the April 6 Youth Movement both stated on Tuesday that interim president Adly Mansour had listened to their reservations regarding Egypt's new constitutional declaration and promised to issue a constitutional addendum accordingly.
Oh please, like it wasn't clear from the beginning. It'll be one of those pseudo-compromises they like to do with rebels.

We are obligated to murder the government. Lincoln said so.

We are obligated to murder the government. Lincoln said so.
And he was right. unfortunately, the majority of the masses are ignorant cowards by intentional design by those whom would make themselves tyrants.

It's quite interesting that bush jr spearheaded this stuff and everyone was a-ok with it due to "dem terrorists".
Probably the only reason he even got reelected despite being the worst president this country has seen, now Obama has to clean up the mess and everyone blames him for all of Bush's policies.
Republicans make me laugh.
And i was fine with this "spying with cause" for the past 12 years. Now everyone is in a OMG panic.
People need to pay attention to what is being passed after every major international incident. (Not talking about anyone here)
Shame the internet was still in it's infancy during 9/11.

I never agreed with it, even as a kid. I got a detention at school for making an anti-patriot act sign. In 4th grade.

In tense situations like 9/11, you have no choice but to "follow the crowd"
Because going against it is "anti patriotic"
Hopefully the newer generation of politicians will know better.

I refuse to follow the crowd if my conscious tells me something is wrong about a situation.

At the moment Snowden has accepted offers of asylum, however the US in violation of international laws and human rights statutes is waiting just outside Russia's airport to black bag him the second he steps foot outside or onto a plane thus blocking any attempts to get to the countries who have offered the asylum.
In other news, the Bolivian government has found evidence that the US has been monitoring the emails of their government officials since they first mentioned that they were considering giving Snowden asylum.

Apparently Bush and Cheney started the NSA spying long before 9/11 even happened. So their super spying program couldn't even stop an attack that big from happening.

I don't understand why they want to catch him so badly now.
Everything has been said, nothing can be done, unless the only thing they still need him for is to torture him into saying it was all a lie.
Obviously no one would believe it at this point.

Supposedly he still has more information that he hasn't told everyone about yet. But at this point I really doubt that's true. Because if a crazy dictatorship of a government is breaking every law known to man to kill you so you won't tell anyone this information - the first thing you would do is tell everyone the information. Then everyone knows, and what are they going to do kill everyone?
