  If you're maining gunner? Sure, I might see why. But as a secondary? You can still be serious about guns as a secondary. Especially with puppets.

  Because Attack Speed+ helps maintain and raise damage in regards to attack speed and amount of hits.
  
  Also, Automatic is not as intrusive as other enchants since it only goes on the gun itself. Meaning for hybrid purpose, if you're using guns as secondary it is the best setup since you don't have to change anything.
  
  You can use your regular max damage enchants and automatic + viscount is enough. Or if you're really don't want to be intrusive, you can just use automatic + 1 accessory with lv.2 attack speed or 2 accessories with lv.1 attack speed each.
  
  That way, you can focus your all on max damage enchants for your main skillset (ranger, puppeteer, etc.) and only lose out 33 max but ultimately gain attack speed+ for your respected gun. Especially if you go with the automatic + 1 accessory with lv.2 attack speed enhancement, you can use butterfly instead of viscount and still enjoy max dmg.
  
  Also in the future where it is harder to get balance, automatic provides a whopping +10~15% balance as well as 10~15% critical rate, which will help with non frenzy normal attack, crossbuster, etc. among other things.

  I think Yukari means like why is automatic better than an attack speed set ie. Chinese dragon armor which leaves you capable of adding other enchants. I'd like to know if I should get the armor or use automatic enchant and risk getting font lag too

  Ah.
  
  Attack Speed+ is okay and all if you're just using Chinese Dragon Set or Lega.
  
  However for some people it may not be a good option.
  
  For example, if you want to wear heavy armor to take advantage of heavy armor mastery (like for giants), then using automatic would benefit.
  
  Another one is using set effects, such as Bohemian if you're planning to mix range and gunner, or etc.
  
  Or if you're a mage and you're using a mana reduction set.

  You keep saying attack speed will raise dps...but i'm still trying to grasp this concept. The only DPS'ing it will raise is frenzy and autoattacks. I plan on actually using the gunner skills...and I don't see how attack speed improves the damage of crossbuster, shooting rush, etc.

  This is also what i'm wondering. If i'm missing out on some normal attack spam and maybe even 20% frenzy damage at the most (not a big deal) compared to 33 max for lower multiplier skills (really big deal), I'm wondering why the attack speed is so important.

Does this mean I could potentially use lullaby right after using smash with lets say a 2handed sword, just by pressing the lullaby hotkey and doing nothing else beforehand?

  In my opinion, soonest we'll see Diva is November. E10 is on the 30th of this month, so lets add a month to this date, 30 days later it would be the 29th which is the soonest we can get druid, another 30 days would be the first Diva update which would be the soonest we'd get singing and the music skills (not necessarily when we get Piano/Violin/Cello, we may get that like half a month later like KR). that being said, soonest we'd get them would be October 29th, more likely in November. Doesn't mean we will get it that soon, just the soonest/best scenario.
