  The strongest all-purpose melee weapon is probably the Fanatic Greatsword. It's fast enough to hit twice with Bash and can reach up to 4 piercing. Divine/Demonic/Celtic Swords are all excellent for Final Hit use. Lances are best used by Giants or when Smiting Girgashiy.

  I forgot that existed or I would've addressed it sooner. I tried to add the talent exp entries to the wiki but I kept getting errors. I managed to add the archery and close combat ones but not the magic yet. Just keep an eye out on the Talent page.

  What's the best option for an Elf who can't use Fanatic Greatsword, Lances, or Dual Wield?

  Chef's Passion is not even considered a sword, nor does it receive Sword Mastery bonuses.
  
  I believe they already explained that they planned to do something with Scythes and Rapiers in the future.

  If the crossbows take radiant or normal tough string.
