You can't.. I need to change the level requirements I mentioned, wherever I did. Since with the level curve change, level reqs changed too.

Looks good, I'd start ranking Shield Mastery now, or you'll do two Counter Attacks and shield will break :V

Okey dokey.

[s]I really want to throw in more sprint-smashes into my gameplay, but hitting shift is actually pretty unnatural for me while using WASD (especially with shift+A+click or shift+s+click). I usually run by double-tapping the directional keys. I'm guessing the answer is no, but is there anyway to make the shield-bash the automatic action when running around this way?[/s]
Edit: I think I might have been lagging, the sprint smash is working the way I want it to now. Ignore the above.

Don't think, so :<
You could try changing the sprint key to some other key you find more comfortable, and just try to get used to it? :V
Sprint smash is actually really awesome, a critical sprint-smash has pretty damn high chances of stunning for such a simple attack, and together with GCHS you can stun some bosses really quickly with sprint smash alone, not to mention it's also really good to break-off bosses armor, like Kobold Chief shield. So you should try getting used to it somehow, since it has many useful uses :v
edit: And now I see your edit :U

I've spent some time on the boat, trying to replicate your SS+HSGC video, but it's not happening very fast. Gotta keep working on it...

First off great guide. I have a few questions though, as fiona do most people stack str or agility? Heavy armor tends to have tons more agi atm which makes sense, but I can see some people going light armor and being more "Dps" based. Does anyone have actual breakdowns of how much +STR raises your damage by? Also does equipping a newer shield affect shield bash type skill damage more? I'm betting it doesn't but needs to be asked ;]. Also do you know of a good website that has crafting material lists?

Both agi and str are really important, I usually just go for Agi / Heavy Armor. Stam Regeneration Please :v
+1 STR = 2 ATT
Shields don't affect damage afaik.
If curse's wiki doesn't have that info, then I dunno.

How important would you say choice in character height is when making the character?

Bakuryu wrote on 2010-09-21 19:07
I think it doesn't really matter, but more research may be in order.

Registered just to ask this. :<
What about plain outright Defence Mastery?
-
Bakuryu wrote on 2010-09-22 20:03
Not worth it until later IMO. And Rank 9 should be enough.

Ah right. Learning the book is worth it in any case. Semi-free 35 defence is always nice.

Hmm has anyone stacked tons of agil yet? Would love to see a comparison vid of stacked agil regen vs a str stacked fiona stam regen. To solo the giant bear btw, what build would you speculate works best against him? I'm imagining a str stacked fiona would do well just because she could toss large items to "maybe" stun the bear to do combos? Or would a shield mastery/heavy stander build do best? or Am I completely off base O.o.
