Spoiler Tag Problems

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

I mentioned that above and Osay knows. He'd have to to a maintainance to fix it though. try lower case spoiler like:

[SPOILER="Spoiler"]This doesn't work[/SPOILER]
[spoiler="oh shit, bunch of spoilers all over the forums, crap crap"]this should work normally[/spoiler]
[spoiler="Big Prinny Sig"]http://i48.tinypic.com/123prfr.jpg[/spoiler]

Seems the situation is more derptastic now. Spoilers for G18 are now no longer hidden in spoiler tags in Mabi Talk :(

Oh wells, nothing can be done about that.

The old tags have been updated properly with a query (if you quote or edit a post with an "old" spoiler in it you'll see the correct BB code), but for whatever reason they don't show up in posts properly until you edit + save (without modifying anything). [S]Guess it's just vbulletin being a dumbass.[/S]

Will not run the query for sigs/VM/PM,[S] posts was the only priority but even that didn't work.[/S]

Actually just found out I have to "rebuild the post cache", a process which takes about 5 hours on out 1m+ posts...
No idea when I'll get to schedule that.

Is it me or are all spoiler tags glitched atm? Instead of seeing the tab I just see them in text format, like [PRE][spoiler/][spoiler][/PRE]

Indeed. Trying to spread to unaware members the art of the new spoiler tag. I shall continue to search for broken spoiler tags.
