  Hello Everyone, This is the Mabinogi Team Reporting
  As of Thursday, July 11 2013's update, the reincarnation system of Mabinogi will have a significant overhaul
  After your first reincarnation, you will be able to receive a special card that will allow you to reincarnate for free every week (however, you cannot select which age you wish to reincarnate is no longer possible)?
  Because of the reincarnation revamp, all basic character cards sold in the cash shop will end today.
  Current cards in existance will only be used to create new characters, no longer used to rebirth
  However, if you would like a refund because of this sudden change, we will make an announcement later on what to do
  Notes:
  Special Character Cards that contain special items will still exist??? (may be wrong)
  Zero/Hero/Elite Hero as well as other memorial cards will still be on sale

  All current character cards save for Zero/Hero/Elite Hero will be removed from the server.
  
  Everyone can rebirth for free.

  I think they're removing basic cards and the limitation from free rb is now not being able to choose age.

  I still don't get how you can reset your age back to 10 like if you decide you want to get those age 10 titles or wear those age restricted clothing. They need to remove the age restriction system entirely if they are going to that.

  Obviously this is amazing, but does this mean bad times for Mabi in KR? Seeing RB cards have to be their biggest moneymaker. Or does this just mean that they're raking in so much dosh from reforges that they don't need RB cards anymore? Or did they finally realize that the weekly RB is the single biggest impediment to people getting established in game and want to broaden the playerbase?

  It's on the other hand.
  
  Their population got so big they had to add more channels recently, going 20+ channels for one server.
  
  Also with JP Mabi's success, they may have all servers implement it... maybe for NA too... maybe.
  
  They also listen to the numerous petitions of easier rebirth and this is their answer to attract a playerbase.
  
  I hope that no one will complain that weekly RB is too long...

  There's rumors that the sales from past events, gachas, and mostly reforges...
  
  Is making things free for Mabinogi. Such as inventory + and now free weekly RB.
  
  Maybe having refoges in the game isn't so bad seeing as how more spenders = more free stuff.
  
  While I do not encourage reckless spending on reforges, it definitely had an impact in the recent free stuff Kr is having.
