Aw, come on guys. Must we really call someone's creative ideas stupid?
Whether you agree with them or not, he took the time to express his opinion. You can shoot them down, but please do it in a more respectful manner.
So it is impossible for a person to create stupid creative ideas or something? Every creative idea is supposed to be intelligent? He took his time to express his opinion, and I took my time to express mines. Noticed that I did not call the person stupid. I called his ideas stupid. It is quite a difference there.
Unless you believe there is no such thing as stupid ideas.

Those were just some basic ideas that I had. If they offended you somehow, I apologize.
1. Exploration is pretty pointless right now. Not to mention unfair for giants. The rafting minigame now gives twice as much experience. Increasing dungeon/exp quest experience would make those a viable alternative.
2. Pet rebirth. Why not? The current system makes pet rebirth largely useless. Players have the ability to raise stronger pets, Nexon makes more money. Win/win.
Pointless? How so? Exploration levels gives additional AP. If you mean exploration for artifacts, it isn't pointless at all. Just a hour of artifacts can easily get you to between level 10-15 exploration. People tend to do artifacts or raft for experience nowadays. Some people have the resources to do field bosses, which gives even more experience.
Some Giants, believe it or not, actually rank Thunder to make themselves really good at rafting. Sure Giant cap quests are annoying, but DevCat somewhat solved those already.
The four dungeons or so in Iria are just not popular compared to Shadow Missions. People who run Iria dungeons are usually looking for certain type of item. The only exception is Shining Karu Dungeon, which gives crazy good experience for those who can solo them easily.
Pet rebirth can give pets different ability after rebirth. However, pets themselves don't do much damage in combat in advance and hardmode dungeon because they don't gain enough damage to break monster defense/protection/hp. They don't exactly have weapons, and most people tend to neglect them in levels.
Nexon makes money with pets by making limited (and/or useful) pets for people to buy. Many people use pets mainly as additional storage and mounts. Some people use it for combat distractions.

3. As I stated earlier, the shield skills are pretty much useless. Three players can waste MP and AP in order to dodge a dragon fireball...or they can throw a paper plane/use a mount. The reduction buff is obvious, the mobility buff increases your flexibility. In duels it would allow players to close in on attackers.
4. Magnum shot. Normal bows can receive a campfire bonus of 150% damage. That's 750% damage per magnum shot. Crossbows have less range/slower aim speed, less damage potential and less mobility (can't move once loaded) than normal bows. There are more reasons to buff crossbow magnum shot than two handed smash.
Shield Skills are useless because there is no situation that calls for them. The problem isn't the lack of mobility, but the combination of lack of people putting AP into these skills, lack of combat situations requiring it, and you can't use other skills while you cast your barriers.
Sure, in theory, stacked barriers can reduce whatever attacks by 90%+ if all three are r6 or whatever. It will be pretty hard to find a set of people having that high shield, and getting the timing just right.
Crossbows have mobility. You can move pretty fast while magnum is loading. It needs no buff.
Crossbows often have more critical rate as well. I don't know what you are talking about when you say less damage potential.

5. Sharp mind is pretty much useless. Those changes would make it useful.
6. Spirit weapon awakening is costly/difficult to obtain and deals low damage considering the cool-down. Sword is outclassed by smash. Blunt is outclassed by windmill. Wand is comparable to int magic. All awakening skills are outclassed by thunder/fire breath.
7. The trans pets would keep falcons/beasts in the loop. If possible, DevCat should add a paladin active skill as well. The fomor scroll price drop would help dark knights.
Yes, Sharp Mind is useless in telling exactly what skill a monster is using, but it is useful in a sense that it tells you a monster is using some kind of skill.
The changes you suggested is just plain stupid because some things are better kept hidden despite some mods actually reveal some of those stuff as part of Sharp Mind already, lol. Your changes doesn't really make Sharp Mind any more useful than it is now. In fact, it is stupid because all it does is create more community problems.
Bow/Wand Spirit Awakening is still somewhat useful because of its massive range. The problem with Awakening isn't the damage, it is the effect of it. However, Awakening is usually seen as flashy move instead of useful movie. If you didn't noticed, Awakening skills do gain damage as you level them up. The problem is that most people don't have that kind of social levels to get it really high, which will make it seem even weaker.
How much people do you actually see run around with a trans pet and putting it in very good use? I have not seen any DK/Paladin trans pet in use since a few weeks after their release when the fad of using those pets disappeared. Maybe there is some small cult of people hiding in some of those dungeons that uses these pets religiously or something.
Yea, I was bored, lol.
If anyone actually read all that, shame on you.
