365 Days of Drawing

  I've taken up a sort of challenge to draw every day for a year, so I figured I'd share my journey with everyone here as well since I've really started to get into it to the point I spend most of my free time practicing.
  
  I haven't really begun to develop my own style, and a lot of what I draw as of right now is quite a bit of referencing to various works- although I've started to branch out a bit with my oil pastel drawings and really enjoy experimenting with those.
  
  Anyways, I'll be updating this thread everyday but for now here are the past seven days of work minus a lot of practice sketching. The first few days were very quick 10 minute sketches before sleeping, it took some time for me to really find the motivation to do this- albeit now I don't want to stop.

  On a side note I am open to requests and ideas- although no promises that I'll get to them. I'm mainly interested in practicing anatomy and concepts captured through landscaping and silhouettes.
  
  I'm pretty much a beginner with art, so I'm always open to constructive criticism. Elena has been helping me out a lot, so a huge thanks to her. [x

  I've tried doing it as well. But with lack of motivation and perfectionism overriding my judgement it kind of went out of whack.
  Just don't worry about the end results and enjoy drawing. If you need any help I have a stockpile of references and other things that might come in handy.

  I'm always looking for references about anatomy and color theory. Actually anything people find helpful regarding art is always appreciated, even guides for what may seem like simple obvious things. I actually just started to learn color theory the past few days, I didn't have any clue about it before.
  
  
  Now, I'm going to be updating the main post at the end of the day with each days completed works since throughout the day I complete multiple pieces usually. Although I will also post new works as they come.
  
  
  
  I've thought about maybe sharing some of my practice sketching, but that's quite a bit to photograph. So for now I'm going to stick to completed works and practices that aren't just random anatomy pieces thrown all over a page.
  
  That aside, here's a quick morning practice I just did for Day 8 before I head out.

  aaaaadsfadf I really can't get over what a great feeling it is when people are enjoying what I've drawn. I hope I'll continue to improve and stick with things. I don't see myself quitting anytime soon, I love drawing farr too much and it's only been eight days.
  
  Anyways here is my day 8 piece that I actually made as a gift for my boyfriend. Here's hoping he likes it when I show him tomorrow. [x

  Oh god, that last one is awesome. I love how you do a smooth transition from yellow at the bottom and purple at the top. I love black silhouettes with colored backgrounds, it makes the drawing speak for itself.
  
  Just one small thing of criticism. The girls hair when it starts to split off from the base is a little thick. it might look better if you add smaller lines just SLIGHTLY spaced out.
