So according to the NPC Commentary, the Tuatha, the NPCs, are ageless.
This is perhaps the biggest plothole ever because through the other Gs, we've seen characters with backstories when they were younger. So how could the Tuatha be ageless?
Besides the classic "You done goofed" answer, I tried my best to find a legit answer to this plothole. The best I could come up with was that the Tuatha were not ageless until the Milletians, us, appeared in Erinn via the Soul Stream.
That's the only possibility I've come up with, and it still doesn't seem like it's the real reason. If this is the reason, then destroying the Soul Stream should return the Tuatha to their aging selves.
Or this could just be a giant "You done goofed", and we all sigh.

Or we could all ignore the NPC Commentary because it's not really part of the storyline. I mean after all it is called Side Story: NPC Commentary. Until it is actually mentioned in the real storyline, that the Tuatha's don't age, I don't believe it.

The Commentary was basically a Q&A, so some things in it could very well be true. Such as Akule's "Cor Village Magazine". We all know that's true.

this explains some things, basically they are not ageless, but our perception of time is different, or the npcs are losing thier memories, and therefore "forgot" how to age....it's.... hard to explain whitout going into quantum nexon logic physics.

The thing with that is that Tarlach wrote that way before G18, and he did mention he discovered something in G18.

I'm going with big fat "You done goofed". We see Mari and Triona as babies and then as 10-year old kiddies. And the first generation of Tuatha de Danann were also kiddies.
And if they didn't age, how the fuck were they born?

I just assumed Tuathas do age, just very slowly so our experience with them in our timeframe in Erinn is only a few years at most.

Don't forget "Leymore saved me when I was a child" Jenna.

Ah, its been so long since I did G9 I don't remember that stuff.
There's also another plot hole that comes with Tarlach's statement: Cai. He was also exposed to the Soul Stream and was even in it for a good amount of time, yet he wasn't affected by it in any way.

Yeah, the developers were just too lazy to add in explainable time jumps (and too lazy to make NPCs age right) and tried to cover up their shit with shit-covered toilet paper. I'd say that's about as good an explanation as you're going to get.

He nearly DESTROYED the Soul Stream.
Also I can't believe I forgot Andras, who we even RPed as a child!
