My last thread was a fail since it made too much room for spam.
On this thread, we will discuss about skills that are C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker to other members.
Personally, I think Ice Spear breaks any combos whatsoever.
Smash/Windmill breaks Thunder.
Ill timed magnum/range breaks a warrior about to smash a mob, thus resulting in mob's retaliation.
Feel free to list any other skills or disagree with some of the combo breakers.

Ice Spear wouldn't break combos if the caster warned the party that they were gonna use it beforehand.
I've made the mistake of Magnum-ing while someone was trying to Smash/WM, though. :x made a couple people mad.

I think any attack would break combo for that combo oriented blaze.

Depends on the type of player. If you notice 90% of the people I run with are giants. Why? Because they don't have range. Range kills so many magic combos its not funny. Now there are a few people who understand when to range and not but for the most part rangers are not best partners for mages.
Now that being said melee and magic can work beautfully together if people know how. Smash -blaze combo is great. also WM blaze. Icespear Smash is actually really good but the timing is tricky. Simply pin enemy up against a wall (works well on lich in peaca btw) and just keep using icespear. The smasher smashes mob and the instant they hit mob you spear make unbreakable 1v1 combo.
Alchemists and rangers get along just super. Try frozen blast and magnum/FS. great Combo. Barrier Spikes + any range. Now rangers but beware range spamming when alchemists are using certain skills.
Maybe this is just the continuing proof of why I don't like range. They seem to mess up more combos than any other skill set.
Also : Weak Icespear is annoying as can be to every skill except blaze and flamer.

If someone has 2 shadow wizards on them and decides to Play Dead that does kinda hurt you...maybe not directly,but if you kill one of the enemies on you and all....yeah. :V
Having a partymember hit an icemine that you just set down on purpose too...:mad: (though it is a bit funny,I admit)

Well,it was in a mission that gives you a 'supply' of icemines. And once someone decided to set up icemines through a dungeon while they were ahead of everyone...and they watched the carnage after making them go off.
but anyway,icemines = deadly fun...yet still deadly. :2thumb:

I can imagine how ice mines would be useful in dungeons, actually :u they sound like a pain to make, though. decent ranked ones anyway.
