Which demonics are worth it?

Like the title says, which of the saga demonic weapons are actually worth going for in your opinion?

I crossed the Demonic Infinite Bow off my list because of the pre-reforged high grade hlbs from previous gacha. The same thing happened with the Demonic Oculus Lance because I already have an enchanted Knight Lance, and the Oculus Repair is not worth it imo.

You're right about those two, although I'd say demonic is still more plausible than lance. But why use demonic bow when you can use bhafel!

Anyways, which ones are definitely worth? Control bars and gloomy sunday. You can't miss out on those.

I guess knuckles are alright, but like demonic bow, there are pre-reforged champs.

And the same goes for penalty blade.

Knight sword is ok, I guess, although enchanting sequence can get tedious, not to mention double the reforge, repair cost.

Overall, I'd say control bar and gloomy sunday are must get.

Only ctrl bar and gloomy sunday are truly worth it. The demonic cylinders are an acceptable choice, if you're one of the few who have wasted enough AP on alchemy to actually be able to equip them.

Demonic Bow: there's r1 pre-reforged HLB, and if you're gonna reforge a bow from r3 to r1 it better be a Bhafel or you're just wasting your money.
Demonic Knuckles: there's r1 pre-reforged champs, and Speedy Crocodile Demonic Knuckle is like 40k repair a point. If you're obnoxiously rich I guess these are passable.
Demonic Lance: read this thread on why it sucks so much.
Demonic 2h: an r1 HLC or any D-Fang is better. This weapon is just useless trash.
Demonic Staff: Hermit Staff is better, so this is also useless trash.
Demonic 1h: beams, elsinore, bastard ego, who dual-wields nowadays anyhow?
Demonic shield: avon is better since it provides charge bonus, vales is better because it trolls even dragons, guard cylinder is better because of alch hybridness... this is useless too.

Demonic weapons are so disappointing.

Demonic Dreamcatcher is cool. Not worth buying though since EP 9 is so easy to spam on alts.

These are more effective than their counterparts:
- Demonic Abyss Cylinder
- Demonic Hellfire Cylinder
- Demonic Nightmare Dream Catcher
These are comparable to their counterparts:
- Demonic Fear Shield
- Demonic Death Knight Sword
- Demonic Solitude Knuckle
I would only bother with demonic weapons which are notably more effective than their counterparts.

The following only compete with easily obtained (often pre-reforged) weapons which hold comparable effectiveness:
- Demonic Death Penalty Blade: 1 Rank Highlander Claymore
- Demonic Death Knight Sword: 1 Rank Falcata, Rainbow Beam Sword
- Demonic Infinite Bow: 1 Rank Highlander Bow
- Demonic Oculus Lance: Knight Lance
- Demonic Solitude Knuckle: 1 Rank Champion Knuckles
These weapons are totally outclassed by non-dragon weapons:
- Demonic Death Penalty Blade
- Demonic Infinity Staff
These weapon groups are outclassed by dragon weapons:
- Ranged Weapons: Bhafel Hunter w/Huntress
- Melee Weapons: Languhiris Bonebreaker
- Fighter Weapons: Languhiris Chaser

That is so depressing for how hard these were to actually craft at one point. I was kinda taken aback when I found out the saga dailies shit them out like crazy (feels like 1/3 chance almost...), but they're so lackluster with the huge repair rates that it doesn't even matter anymore. You might as well just go and get the dragon weapons compared to the Lance, Bow, and Knuckles...

They're all great "wallhangers" though. It's too bad Saga doesn't give out the Fear Shield, that thing looks super cool imo.

As others have said, Gloomy Sunday is great especially if you're a part-time Bard. It gives the musical effects like a Lyre's but along with the Damage of a Battle Mandolin. Of course if you want that "Evil look" to your character then you could use Demonic Weapons even if there are better weapons. [S]I mean, not everyone can access pre-reforged OP weapons.[/S] So if you like the looks of Demonic Weapons, they're still not too bad to use. [S]But then again, who plays Mabinogi for looks?[/S]

IMO, the demonic weapons that aren't worthwhile weapon [demonic penalty blade etc etc] might end up being more valuable as less people run the episode for them. I'm quiet sure some demonic weapon can be sold for more simply because of their anesthetic value.

Or, since the weapons are so devalued now... you can just do ep 7/10 all days of the week because they're easy and short and then just open all the boxes on the weekend.
