  You still lose the ticket if you fail or if you join someone else's party.
  
  Better to still join a party because the boss can be tough depending on which character you get

  I can barely do offering circles with my position/displacement lag on my character. Roleplay characters with anything overly complicated will make the event pointless and frustrating.

  I have to agree that roleplay events are pretty annoying. If they do roleplay right though... Then sure.

  Fortunately, to get the best items, you need a full 8 players. ^^

  I didn't read the whole topic admittedly - apart from the livestream which I can't access at University, is there any indication of the rewards? (Irreplacable things, such as AP pots or something)

  There are new Halloween clothes, transformations, and some fucking ridiculous titles.
  
  One of them appears to give the following effects:
  
  Max Damage +15, Magic Attack +8, Alchemic Damage +8, Casting Speed +5%, Permanently appear 10 years old

  There was also a patch which changed a few things. Among them I noted:
  
  Racial support discounts apply to all races.
  They changed Lance Charge, somehow.

  I'll tell you one thing, though, is that you are either split up or with another person in the party.
  Also, it's an RP event, so no worries on player capabilities :3
