James Creighton, 25, was told that he had to tone down his macabre show, which is based on the cult movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, because some had been reduced to tears.
Officers visited his home in Stevenage, Herts, following complaints from a parent about the collections of bloody corpses and gory skeletons.
Mr Creighton, who had set up the display to raise money for charity, said: “I can’t believe it to be honest. I can’t see what I’ve done wrong.â€
He believes that if the parent had spoken to him rather than the police they could have come to a compromise, adding: “It’s so ridiculous it’s almost funny.â€
He has decorated him home to raise money for Cancer Research UK for the last three years after losing his grandmother

This is the problem with America. Too many stuck up pretentious parents overly protective of their children.

God dammit and I liked the British so much too. This is the kind of thing I would have expected in the US QQ.

Why not just put a warning sign in the front? Problem solved.

Actually in America, stuff like this would be more tolerated.
Ya see, America likes violence, Britain doesn't.
As a wonderful converse...
America hates sex, Britain doesn't.
BOY WAS CHRISTMAS BROADCASTING AWKWARD THERE.

the UK is super uptight compared to America.
At least in the US you can shoot porn and there's a lot of US Porn Stars. Plenty of traffic...er I mean...I'm getting ahead of myself.
I'll just shut up now.

Well, this was 4-5 years ago, i went there and there was very interesting things on the TV, just normal broadcasting like news with many tips for sex in standard 8-9pm slot programming
Like how to spice up christmas day.
I was legitimately weirded out. And then realized how close minded we are about sex.

I thought that in the UK, all one would have to do is get their name on a list so that they can watch pr0n.
It prevents children from being molested over the internet.
And LOL at him saying that getting scared is the point of Hallowe'en. Uhm, no. It was originally a day about children stealing things in costumes and burning them with their families. Nowadays, it's more about having fun and being festive, and, if one wants to, they can go to scary things. It never, however, should be shoved down someone's throat.

The UK and Australia would be
way worse to live in than the US. Other than maybe Canada we're (we're meaning USA) one of the least stuck up English speaking countries. America would go ape shit if they tried to pass some of those laws here.
I know there's other places like India and Belize, but a lot of those places... really have some pretty strange laws <.<

WHAT?
How?
And how could you even say that? If anything, they're just going to divert their attention from porn to other strangers on the internet...
