This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. MoF is a graceful gift in comparison.

1. To increase your points, you collect souls
2. To collect souls you need to kill enemies almost right as they spawn
3. The only way to collect souls is to go near it
4. Souls don't fall down like items do, and stay in place
5. To increase your life or bombs, you collect life or bomb souls
6. To score points or increase your life/bombs, you need to kill enemies as they spawn and then go where they were killed to pick up the souls

Basically, you're going to be at the top of the screen half the time.

LOOK AT ALL THE SOULS I CANT GET BECAUSE GOING UP THERE WOULD BE SUICIDE

Technically you're supposed to freeze them but you can't always load it up.

I remember that one, I think Fairy Wars wasn't actually meant to be beaten, I think it was a test to see how much abuse his fans would take.

I wonder how Ten Desires is coming along. Haven't heard about that one in awhile.

d3dx9_33.dll
This is because you are missing a file.
Step 1. You can download d3dx9.net or dllcentral.comhere.
Step 2. Paste this file into your system32 and system folder. Also put it in your syswow
Step 3. Navigate to your System32(32Bit OS) or SyWOW64(64Bit OS) Folder.
Note: The location of System32 or SyWOW64 is
C:Windows\System32 (If you are using 32Bit Windows)
C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (if you are using 64Bit Windows)
Step 4.Paste the d3dx9_33.dll into this folder.
Step 5.Run the game. It might work now.

Speaking of which. I'm always missing some random dll when I download a new touhou game which has me go to google and google that specific dll which usually gives me the dll right away.
