  I am so mad right now.
  
  I've been breeding boxes and boxes of goomys in the hunt for a good IV'd shiny goomy, right? Well, I also started to compete in the rated special battle division as well, so I decided to take a short break from goomy hatching to quickly make a huge power diggersby for combat purposes. I switched out the goomies and hatched three eggs using a 5IV'd daddy from the field group and a mommy from the safari.
  
  Fucking.
  Shiny.
  Bunnelby in the last egg.
  
  I feel so cheated. That shiny should have been a goomy. :fail3:
  
  And even worse!
  
  The bloody thing didn't even inherit huge power from it's mother...
  
  I know I should be happy to even get a shiny at all, but I hate looking at the thing now...

  Haha. Okay, it took me somewhere between 1,000 and 1,300 eggs, but I finally hatched a shiny Ralts two nights ago. His name is Kaon and he's a trap. Hueh. Didn't get 5 IVs on it but it's still good enough for me.

  Got two more shinies for the collection. A shiny audino and a shiny furfrou. The furfrou has horrible stats but he's so fun to style and pet.

  I've played Pokemon for years and have only ever met 2 shiny in my journeys.
  
  My first ever encounter with a shiny Pokemon was in Johto Gold; I was headbutting trees and stumbled upon a pink Butterfree. I guess I was too stupid (and blind apparently) to realize it was a shiny, so I ended up just escaping from the damn thing. orz
  
  Although you could say I haven't found many shiny Pokemon, the only two I've seen which one I currently own already makes me feel very lucky:

  EDIT: Got a shiny charmander. Only two max IVs in HP and Speed, but still. Shiny charmander.

  If you don't know, in X and Y, Your trainer has a shiny value and a pokemon egg has a shiny value, if a egg and a trainer has the same shiny ID then the hatched pokemon will be a shiny.
  
  So if your egg has a shiny ID of 2836 and gets hatched my someone with a shiny ID with 1020 it wont be shiny, but if both the egg and the trainer has a ID of 2836 then the hatched pokemon will be a shiny.
  
  So what people do is use instacheck on a bunch of eggs and if one of them has the nature and IV's you want, then you just need to find another trainer with the same shiny ID as the egg, and have them hatch the egg and give it back.
  
  On Reddit there is a whole list of people with id's 0-4095. the subreddit is /r/SVExchange on the sidebar. Or if I can link it (http://www.reddit.com/r/pokemontrades/wiki/shinyids#btn)
  
  But know that there is a chance that you will be scammed. known scammers are banned on the list.
  
  just google "InstaCheck" and follow the smogon guide.

  Sadly my PC can't run Instacheck, but I got a few friends who I can run eggs by sometimes. Thank goodness for buddies. :chomp2:
  
  Also, my Shiny Value is 3296, in case anyone needs me to hatch an egg for them.
  
  EDIT: Got a shiny gligar called Hank Scorpio and a shiny Mawile called Poutine.

  Since I can't run insta-check, I would need to request the trade with someone so they can check my trainer's shiny value.

  I just traded two of my shiny Pokemons to get a dream shiny, that have perfect nature, and gender. She also have 4 flawless IVs.
  
  A shiny Ralts... I'm going to raise her to be the most beautiful mega Gardevoir ever!

  Got my first X shiny today. Was a Mawile. I'm quite happy about that. I'd have been happier if said Mawile also had a decent amount of perfect IVs. On that note, does breeding with a shiny Pokemon increase the chances its off-spring will also be shiny? If not, then I may have to just pray I stumble upon a 5 or 6 IV foreign Ditto for future breeding purposes.
