Royal Knight Armor Upgrade Path?

  It holds value no matter the method to get it, u can put the time forth and then sell to the "lazy" people for alot of money. The fact that it has value doesnt doesnt matter the method that u go about obtaining it as long as u can sell it for a high amount.

  Problem with Hebona is that it only affects 2 out of so many spells, and thanks to MWM and a bad dev team that bonus is a negligible ~3% now. In reality, it's probably much cheaper and easier to just enchant and/or reforge normal gear or even non-Magic gear to a greater output that also effects multiple other spells.
  Alch is a little more weighted in that Cressida actually affects core skills to a noticeable extent.
  
  The other skillset bonuses are more influential, but as far as Heavy Armor users go Thames is just a small sect out of all possible practical uses.
  Plus telling OP to use anything that's not RKA was off-topic to begin with.

  Oblivion has been devalued by gachas, drops, and the fact that its not fashionogi :U however it is way too high imo

  Yup. Simply not worth getting. You're better off getting the armor then sell it to get Oblivion.

Ofc u can use the argument, "u should do w/e u want" but honestly ur only hurting urself if u are using heavy armor for anything besides melee and i suppose magic (even tho u still should be using hebona for the firebolt effect). In the end if he wants to "tank" then do w/e u feel like, but I wouldn't use such an expensive armor set when u can get something like mythril lance heavy armor or other things for a fraction of the cost.

  Your post reads almost as if he can't wear both the royal knight armor and the hebona set at the same time if he's a mage. You get your hebona circlet, shoes, gloves, and robe.....of course he can wear the armor too.

  Using the RK armor as a mage was never really something that I really discounted honestly. However you could stick with a karis for the mana usage reduc so u dont waste more mp pots, but again its not as big a deal as other classes have it.

  My mana consumption is already cut by 40% due to int modifiers, endgame an additional 10% will not prove as effective unless you mana shield tank.
  Which with heavy armor is not even needed.
