Quote from Zunori;1175127:
The 2-week free-birth technique won't make a difference.
Here's why:
Once you reach age 20, your character is allowed to rebirth for free. What the tip is saying is that if you rebirth right before the character ages up, then you will only need to wait 2 weeks for the next rebirth because the character will age up to 18 from 17 on that day itself. This is true, but a person cannot free-birth before the age of 20, if they want only 2 weeks, then they would have to wait an additional week before they would technically turn 21. So the person will have to wait 3 weeks anyways. In that case, its just better to rebirth to 17 as soon as you turn 20.
It's useful when you feel too lazy to rebirth.

Skills
- Has anyone mention R1 Rain casting will prevent monster from aggro-ing you? Given they're not aggro-ed on you before the rain hits the ground.
Another tips, but a no-brainer.
- If you want to train music buffs, try to train all of them at once (or at least 2 buffs). This way you can alternate the buffs to eliminate (or shorten) cooldown.
Tax evasion
- If you hate paying 10% for gold transfer tax on items sold in your house, you can get an alt with 45 big gold bags, take out 2.25m from house and then purchase a worthless item in a shop in dunb. Of course, the item is listed by your second account. Only 2% tax is been charged, saving 8%.
- Also note, each char increases your potential bank deposit by 5m, So a maximum of 15m on a free account with two assistent chars.
Hotkeys
- On-screen hotkeys are able to de-summon your current pet if you tries to summon another one. Just to clarify, On screen hotkeys are hotkeys you see on screen, with an icon. Whereas off screen hotkeys will not de-summon pet, such as the likes of #pad keys. It's a bit confusing, but I hope you get it.
^Application, for pet spamers, simply double click/double tap a chain of pet icon.
Profing/skill trainning
- Cooking dungeon monsters all have very high cp (8800, which no way i should've known), great for melee profing since they have dumb AI, and Gewyas will usually draw all the aggro.
- ALso great for skill training that does not involve kills.

Gonna be updating the thread in a bit.
Heres the video to rank mirage missile (sorry the volume is low)

Updated, and removed the freebirth tip since Zunori is correct.

FOOD
Poisonous Mushroom Stew are the only? create-able item that can lower potion poisoning effect.
TAX
If you owe a house and you let the house expired, it will create a check after subtracting a 5% creation fee compare to the 10% direct deposited from house to bank.
SEALS
For anyone spamming for adventurer seals, accepting most quest before the reset time (7AM PST [10AM EST] so at midnight PST/3AM) will 'save' the quest for that day. So if your low on time and have to head to bed, quickly grab all the daily quest and you can do them twice the following afternoon/night.
SKILL
- If you leave the shadow mission while being drained you'll be in life drain mode (losing hp constantly but never dying) until you switch channels, this can be used for easy healing and potion lore training (Kyubey)
This life drain glitch is a great way to train potion lore
Lingering darkness is also a great place to train charge. By charging at archers that are behind a barrier spike, it will prevent you from killing them allowing you to continuously charge at 2 archers until the sm times out.
The super large crystals in the hillwen mine and shyllien nature reserve both gives 2x training for rare mineralogy and shyllien ecology skill.
Raccoon area near the logging camps and the dire wolfs in osla trail are great ways to train puppet skill and fighter skills.
TNN is the most ideal way to train Shooting rush and bullet storm by trapping them behind a wall
Barrier spike in EP 7 saga mission and provocation are the best way to spam grapple shot, flash launcher, bullet slide, and reload.
Solea cave is split into two caverns. One connected to rano and one connected with physis [with the star mark in the middle]. If the first cave that connects to rano has gold herbs and poison herbs as a common herb patch, the second cave connected to physis will have mandrakes and antidote herbs appearing more commonly instead. [It changes daily?if im not mistake].

This should be obvious but Charge is much easier to rank if you activate a lower ranked Spellwalk while training.

For some quick exploration EXP or gold, purchase a Fomor Fire Wand / Normal Fire Wand and prof it to get +4 Chain Cast on it, gather 8 Ice Elementals and place them on your equipment and rank your Firebolt to rank 5. If you want to speed it up, get some goddess wings to teleport back to Calida. Doppleganger also helps if you got high stamina when it's off cooldown.
I'm getting tired of hunting bandits for EXP, some leveling tips would be nice, anyone got some?

I've got a few tips...
1. When in a production party, ensure that all the members are NOT on mounts, if they are, they are taken out of the production bonus.
2. Shock pages can also be used to help train enchanting the same way that fireball pages are.
3. You can get to rank 9 blacksmithing using Edern's Part time jobs without spending a dime.
4. Mandolin's Request gives out adventure seals and can be done once a day, but the fish you receive as a reward can be opened and you can find things like wood boards, red/blue upgrade stones inside of them.
5. When in missions where you have to sneak, you can spam click at your feet to shutter step faster.
6. When running Caverns lord missions, you can skip certain mobs, the monsters that are pre-spawned, such as the bats, crabs etc. can be skipped and you can finish the mission.
7. When running the Convoy lord mission, when the giant fire sprites spawn, they need to be the first thing dead, a single fireball from them can wipe all your wagons and end your mission right there.
8. When using part time jobs for training, you can also go onto alts on the same accounts and get extra part time jobs, and transfer the materials you get to the character you want them on, using the bank.
9. If you don't like the part time job you get, you can often change channels instead of accepting the job and possibly get a new one (Exception of Edern's part time job)
10. Keep in mind when you want to use Ascon's part time jobs for training handicraft, you get wood boards as rewards which you will need a LOT of later to continue ranking it, for beginner+intermediate jobs you get 1, and for advanced jobs you get 2, you also can get 5 average or 5 fine firewood which can be used in carpentry.
11. If you are tired of chopping wood for carpentry and would rather fight, get an alt account through G1, up to the final dungeon and fight with glas, take the goddess pass and leave, then come back with another character, have the alt drop someone in, the gargoles in the mission drop 1~5 pieces of firewood each and glas will continuously spawn them. There is no timelimit so you can sit around killing gargoles for firewood.
12. To get extra homestead stones, you can complete Madoc's request in Cobh, and get 2 by giving him 5 Large Nails
13. The best place to gather nails for anything is at crossroads between Bangor, Port Ceann and the Sen Mag Housing Channel, the sign there seems to drop them the most often.
14. Windmill is still one of the first skills you should rank, it becomes quite the hassle to do it later.
15. Rank handicraft before ranking production mastery, having a high production mastery will make it a lot harder to get fails then having high dexterity.
16. When working on Metallurgy the best place to do it, is the beach north of Cor, it is a decent size, and has a high spawn rate for metallurgy spots. They respawn quickly so you can literally sweep from one side to the other and back.
I think that's all I can muster up this morning, hope those help someone :)

For Ego Weapons: Shadow missions drop free food all the time, keep an eye out when running them, monsters often drop bows, swords, boots etc. that if you don't want them, ego feed them, especially if your ego is hungry and you have no other food on you. Also Gems can drop from some monsters/end chests which also again easy and FREE ego food.

I believe the rocks at port ceann will drop nails at a higher rate. Both are good but im not sure which is better.

Want to find a chest in dungeon containing the key without mods or pets? The way to do this is very simple. Hold down the right button on your mouse while having the cursor on a chest then move your cursor while holding down right-button on your mouse. If the cursor doesn't change, it's a Mimic. If the cursor does change, it contain the key.

You can also load windmill and hover your cursor over the chest. If it's that little circle thing with the X inside of it, it's the key with the chest.
