Guilds
- When looking to join a guild READ THE GUILD STONES, 95% of the time they have all the information you want to know about the guild and how to apply. Most guild leaders will auto reject random people who apply without following any specific instructions that they have on the stone.
- To guild leaders, avoid cliques, they are horrible for your guild. Why you may ask? Because it leaves people out, and when people feel left out they tend to leave. Try to make sure you welcome new guild members with opened arms because cliques are very intimidating to new members and can really affect if they will be staying for the long hall or not. Finally cliques tend to stay together, so instead of upsetting/pleasing a single person you have to ensure the whole group is okay, because when one of the clique members leave, it will be a daisy chain of members going.
Community
- Be careful who you associate with, even if you did nothing people tend to lump groups together. You could get lumped with someone for something that they did, even if you did absolutely nothing.
- There are many ways to make friends on this game, look in guilds, on social media sites such as facebook or tumblr, or check fan sites/forums, because I guarantee that you aren't the only person who is looking for some new friends, and you might find someone you may have never met otherwise.
- Be aware of what your party says about you. Some people tend to hate level requirements on shadow mission parties because they show off an "elitest" attitude. Someone with a total level of 700 can run elites and still do damage if they have their character set up properly. You don't need to be 2000+ to do NPC, and you shouldn't feel bad if someone tells you you can't join a party because you are too weak. Chances are, the only reason they are saying that is because they are weak enough that they need to be carried.
General
- Take advantage of all AP giving quests, and events. Even if you aren't short on AP now, you will be at some point of your fantasy life, it takes over 10,000 AP to rank every single skill in the game, and eventually you will get to that point.
- Plan AP ahead, it is a lot easier to know what level you need to get to to rank a specific skill and having that goal acts as great motivation.
- Forums are your friend, even if you don't like posting on the nexon forums you can still find a lot of useful information so take a few minutes to check them.
- CP can be your worst enemy, when planning to work on a specific skill set, such as melee, archery, or magic, try to make sure you rank any cp reliant skills before the ones that aren't cp reliant. By doing this you will knock the harder skills out of the way and it will just be a clean sweep when ranking the rest of your skills.

For some quick exploration EXP or gold, purchase a Fomor Fire Wand / Normal Fire Wand and prof it to get +4 Chain Cast on it, gather 8 Ice Elementals and place them on your equipment and rank your Firebolt to rank 5. If you want to speed it up, get some goddess wings to teleport back to Calida. Doppleganger also helps if you got high stamina when it's off cooldown.
I'm getting tired of hunting bandits for EXP, some leveling tips would be nice, anyone got some?
Okie, one thing to correct and one thing to add.
- Cannot perform doppleganger on balloon
- you can use goddess wings to port back to npc, THEN use hot spring coupon to port back to wyvern area, wala.

Yes, there're a few grinding spot that i find decent.
- Battle for taill 2 SM - decent exp, great gold. If you have strong mob skills you can clear each group of enemies with ease. Mission should take no more than 5 minutes, if not, reduce the difficulity.
- Shadow wiz SM - decent exp and gold, less boring than BFT2, but require lullaby and puppet to clear quickly.
- Martial Art Tourny (party) - usually you join a group of 5/6, random parties still work given there's at least one carrier. Good exp and moderate gold. But you can get rare enchant and items.
Martial Art Tourny (solo) - Best exp for myself. Very grindable as it require good concentration, slacking off will result in death most of the time. For the record, I get about 1.5m exp per run, 15mintues each, so about 6m exp per hour, DR makes it 12m/hour.

I don't think so. It only double gathers (when dead) if you have the disposition for it. The only reason why people keep them dead is because they don't get stress from gathering failures.

1) When doing Belvast Hostage, you can skip the 3rd wave. Have all members of the party either, destroy the barriers, walk around them, or squeeze through the crack between the left most one. Then have everyone stand on the corner of the circle while you talk to the NPC.
2) Killing most of your hostages with dragon reduces the number of enemy spawns and will most likely also reduce the chance of them glitching. Use with caution as this can be a double edged sword.
3) Blacksmithing and Tailoring Dan ranks increase your success rate by 1% per rank.
4) You can advertise with a party sign for as long as you like without having to occasionally reopen the party. Simple create a new party with the desired message, change channels, return to the original channel, and you're all set. (Do no reopen the party when you return to the original channel. This trick is meant to help you advertise through the dialogue window)
5) Polar Hornets in Vales are a great source of white herbs. They behave like sulfur spiders so you can use fire alchemy to mass murder them.
6) When training herbalism in Solea, remember that all the hidden patches have a fixed location (in fact all hidden artifacts do). Activate Demi and find all the patches quickly and memorize their locations by matching them with landmarks. When you change channels, you can immediately find these patches with your L-rod.
7) If you want to quit rafting or ballooning early (maybe because you are spamming dailies and don't care about the stars), you and simply change channels.
8) Using personas give invincibility frames.
9) You can use your Avon feather like a Warp Imp. Pick a location you want to save and use your feather. Leave Avon via cont warp or other means. When you want to return to your saved location, have another player take you to Avon and use your own feather.
10) If you want the Master Instrumentalist title, spam Barry's ptj for great successes with this technique. Take his ptj and immediately quit. Keep the score he gives you and do not play it because after you get 2 great success with the score, it becomes unusable. On the next day, take the ptj again. Now you have 2 scores. Play one of the scores until you get 2 great successes (the score becomes useless at the point so toss it). Equip the other score and play until either you have about 8-10 uses left or ptj time is almost up. It is important that you have at least 8-10 useless left because you will be using this score to obtain 2 more great successes for the ptj tomorrow. Rinse and repeat for the master title.
11) Way of the Gun and Final Hit (dual wield) will stun crystal golems if you attack non stop.
12) Your pets have a personal shop search function. Right click them and click "Search Personal Shop" and type in the name of the item you are trying to find.
13) When producing through potion making, weaving, etc, if you uncheck the "Queue Items" box, you will turn all the material you have put into the production window into the desired product in 1 attempt. Note that this only gives 1 count of training exp and a fail will result in a huge loss of materials. Use with caution.

Updated! Sorry if I missed anything.
Also, you can use skills while on your battle pegasus (the one from g18) but it has pre-genesis loading times.
Also @ Clarey:
I wanted the thread to be more about gameplay mechanics and not so much about the social aspect of it so I didn't add those parts of your post to the opening post. But thank you so much for all the stuff you've contributed so far, so much good info.

Training tips
-Using the flaming sword on avon to train healing/party healing. Evg + Pets + magic damage only, will do wonders too, the best part is that you can do this one near a sungate.
-If you need barriers to train skills, or to profi weapons(using a tendering potion), you can do The saga-Episode 7 -"Tense Escape" mission, they have a lot of HP, and you don't need a party to drop you in, else you can make a party to drop you inside the SM Provocation -tailltean-.
-If you need to hit a big number of enemies based on CP, try Enemy Behind, hit all the orbs available and let them spawn up to 6 enemies. You might need a -CP gear. Else, try the 1st Hall at ToA.
-To do more damage using Shock, change weapons to a tower cylinder right after using the skill, this will also make your training faster.

The character card present on a newly created account or when your account lacks characters can be used to create a Druid character. The character will be given a Newbie Healing Wand, Newbie Ice Wand, and Newbie Potion Creation Kit. You get all skills associated with Druid at rank Novice, plus the tutorial quests for healing, medicine, and magic (and of course the usual combat one everyone gets), giving you all the skills those normally give you. Pretty nice amount of skills and stuff for a new player. It will likely be the same for the other Hero talents once they come out.

Windmill training spot:
The final mission of episode 4.
The mobs there spawn at one location, so after you clear the initial spot, you can just wm at the spawn point for windmill training.

Act 7 gets a triple hit after crisis if you have yourself or someone else summon a stun pet in the middle of act 7 firing.

If you're lazy like me hate doing dailies everyday, well good news is, you dont!
Just get the daily quest from the NPC, then you can complete it tomorrow, and you still get tomorrow's daily.
In so doing two dailies every other day.
If you want, you can even do three dailies in the same hour. Dailies are given on 7am pst/10am EST each day. Time it right and the first two dailies before 7am and the third just after. Just make sure to receive the 2nd daily before 7am.
E.g. Rafting - You can do Monday and Tuesday's on Wednesday morning between 6:50 to 6:59, then do Wednesday's just after 7:00.

Oh Bog, are you sure you want to spill out hints like that. This would make puppet even more op than it already is (for many people) !!

From what I observed, if the pet freezes the mobs, I can only get 1 hit in. So do you summon the pet after the puppet has hit once already with act 7? Or after the 2nd hit?
Also this:
You can transfer gold from a lorna and pan goldbox to a goldbag but you cant transfer gold from a goldbag to a lorna/pan box.
Cor treasure chests/statues all dissapear on a fixed interval at the same time.
You can maid gather from cor statues to get up to 6 artifacts per statue found.
You can have two people pummel a monster at the same time if you both use pummel at the same moment.
Daily dungeon quests only require that you touch the goddess statue at the end, not completing the whole dungeon. So theoretically, u can have 1 mule afk in peaca all week long with a bandaid as the drop at the end of the dungeon. Anyone that drops a bandaid in there and touches the exit statue will get a completion.
If you want to complete the daily peaca dungeon REALLY fast, have a mule with g11 or g12 peaca completing that will count as well for the daily.
When training commerce mastery, sell the items in chunks to get more training exp. For example, if you know u will make 10 k ducat profit, sell 1/2 the items for 5 k profit at a time to get "earn 5000 ducats or more" twice.
Episode 10 saga is hands down the FASTEST saga to complete if you have at least 2 warp imps. Set 1 at raspa and the other at the rafting place by cor. I had my alts finish in as little as 4 minutes.

After the 2nd hit, it's the same concept that annoys melee fighters the most. If a mob is knocked down and it gets hit by any attack, it gets up instantly (which for act7 makes them get hit again)

just summon your AoE pet right after you release your act7. doing it on 1st hits is way much easier.
also no ice dragon nor scooter.
