Changes in Phantasmal Chorus for NA

  Well, seeing how we'll be getting the latest version instead of the previous version right off the bat, I'll restate the difference between the two versions. It is similar to how KR got elemental guns then changed to unobtainable while NA gets non elemental guns off the bat. I do not know when exact time this change was implemented, but it was somewhere along the lines between where I tested it on KR Test to when I got Phantasmal Chorus on KR Lute Server.
  
  It was mentioned before but I will make a thread of it since Diva is close:

  • Musical Buffs Stacks as long as they were different. I.E Battlefield + March Song = OK! But Battlefield + Battlefield = NO
    
  • The most recent buff erases the previous... Someone plays battlefield during the current battlefield, it'll be overwritten.
    
  • Players who step into the circle will get a buff renewal... as long as they are in the circle, the buff's timer will get constantly renewed until the player steps out, or the circle disappears.
    
  • The song will still play even if the circle disappeared.
    
  • You will get Ode of Sighs or Hymn of Life, depending on what type of buff you use.
    
  • A single bard could phantasmal chorus (battlefield) - > encore - > phantasmal chorus (vivace) so a whole party can benefit with both battlefield and vivace from a single bard.
    
  • Only instruments work
    
  • Players must be IN the circle to get the buff, so if you're far from the circle and it's being played, you won't get the effect. Likewise, if you die.. and run to the circle, you'll get the buff.
    
  • You can use "song traps" for the negative effects on enemies when they walk in.

  • Buffs no longer stack. You can no longer do battlefield + vivace. It overwrites normally.
    
  • Phantasmal Chorus is only visual now. Before when you step, the duration resets, now, the duration is applied during the actual skill use, much like our current buffs. This means if you're out of the circle, you'll get the buff but you will no longer be able to "renew" duration. The circle is now just visual.
    
  • You can now use both microphones and instrument, as oppose to instruments only.
    
  • Encore really has no use other than a nice clapping sfx or double dischord. For Phantasmal Chorus it has no use.
    

  
  
  
  Basically they trashed Phantasmal Chorus. It is basically what we have now except you just get Hymn of Life or Ode to Sighs.
  
  To go into detail, encore lost its true purpose, and Phantasmal Chorus is just a small bonus ontop of what is already being done.
  
  The only real lovely thing is singing without instruments and the +15 buff from singing to boost your current performance.

  Wow. I wasn't following Diva that closely so I didn't know that they made these changes. Why even bother making those skills if one of them is going to be made completely useless?

  We can try it out, but I am sure it doesn't work that way.
  
  Or else we'll see more KR videos of double meteors... or constant instant cast fireballs or extended final hit.
  
  But there's been no mention of that. But no harm in running another test no?

  Any skill that's lower than encore's cooldown, like a 20-30 second cooldown or less.
  
  Obviously nothing longer than encore's cooldown.

  That would make sense, and if that is true, then it would be a good skill to use on Fighter, Puppetery, or Gunner skills.

  Are you sure we're even going to get Phantasmal Chorus? Seems like it'll probably be a damaging or debuff AoE skill from the given description.
