I'm not sure how but it would be nice if they made it so people are forced to work together not just blow up everything they see.
I wouldn't say outclassed...
Granted, the most experienced elf players in Alexina have quit a while ago, but KR servers are examples of why Elves aren't outclassed. Which is probably why the Elves don't seem that great in Alexina, simply because the more experienced Giants are still playing, while most of the Elves aren't.
I agree, Elves have terrible early game, and only shine brightly late game in current meta.
Elves will still have higher dps, but in NA server, Elves' dps is a bit lower thanks to lag unlike KR.
Giants have high smash but it's plagued by other things, like the fact that you can't spam smash as fast, and Giants don't have a thing called range. At least Elves have some kind of melee.
I do agree with elf range revamp though, I think it's more necessary for NA servers since they lag more than KR.
Not sure about piercing part for bows, since that'll make other egos outclassed.
As for ego revamp, that's an interesting idea. Hopefully this tweak to the egos won't use same upgrade stones, otherwise it'd be too easy to get tweaked egos.
How about they focus more on more difficult content or hell I'd even take a global nerf at this point. I can understand a need for equality but constantly raising the bar for each race will only make the difficulty drop and drop. Either buff the mobs, nerf the players, or just revamp the entire dam system at this point but asking for a buff to one specific race will only cause the other races to complain and ask for a buff too and there will be a constant chain of buffs into a point where you can literally snap ur fingers and finish the mission. Honestly, at this current point in time everything is as balanced as it has ever been (this doesnt mean everything is balanced but its alot closer than normal) and I'd hate to see it fucked up because devcat decides to grant the players wishes and continue to buff things people find "less than extraordinary".
Return defense back to how it was before and I'd be happy.

Whats defense whenever you can one shot everything anyways? This is my point, defense is situational at best at this point due to the exceedingly high power ceiling that has been constantly put in place due to players asking for buffs. It's not impossible for you to solo content with a squishy elf, its just a little more difficult than with a giant. And who cares if they do it faster? If you can do it as well then theres no point besides an issue of pride. Not to mention the addition of reforges completely screwed over this sense of "pride" that you get for getting high damage anyways.
Not just a little more difficult, way way way more difficult. I'm not complaining about it being difficult anyway, I don't mind having a challenge and had no issue with everyone being on level ground (elves were a little bit more squishy and long range focused, giants a bit more tanky and melee focused, humans in the middle) before defense changed, but I find it silly that elves are the only ones that have to be on guard constantly. A giant can afford getting hit constantly making all content easy, the big thing in Mabi before was don't get hit. Every post where people were complaining about survivability the most seen response was "don't get hit". Now its "don't get hit if you're an elf, but you can go ahead and let everything hit you if you're a giant". I'm focused on positioning my crisis to get the most mobs, positioning my CS to get the most mobs, summoning pets at the right time to allow my crash shot to finish loading to 100%, making sure my mana is high enough to take a hit with mana shield, blah blah blah, all so I don't die. A giant simply has to go in with a lance and vales shield and just fuck everything up with no regard to dying whatsoever.
Do remember that your level is low compared to someone who has put ap into other things besides dex. While its true giants have ridiculously easy early game tanking without even trying, elves arent ridiculous squishy as you say. Mana shield can still take a good chunk of damage later in the game, not to mention that elves arent completely without str so I would put elves and humans in the same tankability status. Honestly elves are fine, it doesnt matter if they cant tank everything all day everyday, but they can deal damage and not die in a couple hits later in the game so they shouldn't have a huge problem.
Also do remember, elves are supposed to be squishy. Their main attribute is range, and range is supposed to have minor defense compared to close combat.
