You make it sound like -CP is awfully easy to get.
CP gear
is easy to get if you put in an ounce of effort.
Helmet:
[Thin] -100 Uncommon drop from Lingering Darkness
[Uncomfortable] -100 from Karu Stone Hound Dungeon end chest
Body:
[Marble] -500 CP with heavy armor. Easily acquired/bought from raids/players.
[Raccoon Cub] Not super uncommon, you can buy from other players for a few mil or make your own. You'll tend to find this on age 17-20 magical wear(For humans/elves), but it gives you -1000.
[Jackal] -500 magical armor for ages 17-20. Cheaper than raccoon cub obviously. Id probably choose marble over this one because age restriction.
Gauntlets:
[Small] -100 from enemy behind
[Damaging] -100 for gauntlets from Karu Stone Zombie dungeon
Boots:
[Vicious] -100 prefix from Their Method
[Inconvenient] -100 for metal boots from Karu Stone Imp
Weapons:
[Arch Lich] -250 CP, rank 6 prefix. Ask someone on how to Metus for these. You can enchant these on npc-bought weapon and even dual wield for a total of -500.
[Broken Arrow] -250 CP on an Xbow. I used to get these somewhat regularly when I'd do a lot of shadow missions. From Lingering Darkness.
[Abysmal] Used to be a lot easier to make due a certain change in wyverning rewards, but still mangable. -500 CP on a 'shield.' Usually slapped on cooking pots for ease of access.
Bridging might be a bit of an inconvenience for some of these enchants, but they are there if you bother. I made my set of those -100 CP pre/suff enchants from karu/Tara end chests well over a year ago. It's doable and a good time investment if you plan on playing for a while. There are probably some more things in there, but these are just the ones that I use/own.
