  When you first go to Doki Doki Island you get a gift box that so far seems to just be handing out ye old RE potions.
  
  Interesting tid bit. Logging out while in the event area doesn't take you out off the map so it seems to be an actual map somewhere in the game and not a shadow mission instance.

  1) Deliver 30 Potatoes to Wenger - Reward: 3 Cat Eyes
  2) Deliver 30 Silvervine Fruit to Wenger - Reward: 3 Cat Eyes
  3) Deliver 7 Chum Salmon to Wenger - Reward: 3 Cat Eyes
  4) Deliver 5 Seasoned Tuna with Onions (Mixing: 60% Bluefin Tuna, 30% Onion, 10% Salt or Lemon or Onion Soup) - Reward: 5 Cat Eyes
  5) Deliver 5 Cat Eyes to Wenger - Romantic Island Gift Box

  Winning the mini games rewards you with a Romantic Island Gift Box
  
  Couple Event
  Relax in the Square by a campfire and every 10 minutes you will enter a lovey dovey state and get a Romantic Island Gift Box. There's a quest for this that also rewards a Romantic Island Gift Box.
  
  Dancing with your partner when using the boombox will improve your Romantic % Level by 0.5%. Reach 100% to be able to use the fly action with a partner or yourself anywhere in Erinn! Action is Ready to Fly Action. Reach 20% to be able to use the fly action with a partner or yourself but only on Doki Doki Island.

  You also gain like 1% for each hour you afk with your romantic partner.

  I think they are really trying to build hype for Season 2 atm so hold your horses speaking of which, new horse pet that's blue in color. I'll check that out after work.
  
  Season 2 won't be until February judging by the end dates just as an fyi, so until then sit back and try and enjoy the event. At least the island is pretty enough. Wonder if you could keep an alt there even after the event ends...

  I think it's actually a permanent event-area, based on the amount they put into it. It has it's own feature code, and they haven't used that for stuff they plan to remove later before.

  The island is just a revised Nekojima, it not "new".
  
  Also, the "armor" is called Oriental Dragon Costume.
