  400k an hour is really slow and not worth it =C
  
  there's another grinding method that can net 800k-1.5m/hr without shadow crystals

  Again, the main problem is just... not enough people. Most Raids don't have good rewards anyways. Also, it is discouraging for the people who don't get part of the finish.

  
  
  As stated in OP, all it takes is ~5 mediocre players to take down every raid boss other than wd/bd. There is nothing hard about these raids, you just watch the dragon go back and forth and kill it while nobody takes any damage. And actually all raids have amazing drop tables (I even stated most of them in the OP). Also your last sentence doesn't really make sense since raid finishes are basically only useful for exploration EXP.

  Everyone always asks for a get rich quick method, this is the most reliable and easy way. Not to mention you lose almost no dura and there is next to no risk of dying. How is that not amazing?

  The easiest hm mission (which I would say is SCC imo) still takes more effort than doing raids. Speaking of exp killing all dragons nets you around 6m exp, which obviously isn't amazing, but you're getting it on top of awesome gold and item rewards.

  I'm in Alexina where people raid and people messing up raids happens way less often than you would think. Also BFT2 takes way more dura and takes more effort to do, not to mention you don't have any chance of getting 15m+ items in BFT2 like you would doing desert dragon (since you guys in tarlach don't really have many solo enchants)

  Comparing content that most people cannot solo to raids which anyone can take part in isn't really fair IMO. Granted if you are at the point where you can solo shadow wiz HM quickly and efficiently, then thats great. But raids are meant for any player, my friend started raiding at lvl200 and got 4.5k contrib in Alexina (where there are like 20~50 people at each raid) so if he can do it anyone else can do it too.
  
  
  
  Anyways, I made this thread to enlighten those who don't really know much about raids. I know there are plenty of people who don't really know how great raids are (I was one of those people) and more important how easy raids are. If this thread inspired you then just get some of your guildmates or friends to come along to some raids. Like I said all it takes is ~5 people and you can clear all smaller raids easy. If you're lower leveled and want to make money raids are catered just for you.

  2. To try and justify not attending raids
  3. It's not actually real (I doubt this one the most, the numbers listed don't seem too far-fetched)

  Do raids give you the best exp per minute? No, totally hands down to NPC.
  Do raids give you the most gold per minute? Not really, everyone has their own way to do the gold digging, whether its spamming SMs, selling your stuff, or even right-clicking that spider cobwebs for monieh.
  
  Speaking of raids, I have been doing it since 2008. Back then, raid content benefit the most for finishers and vultures who would hit once and seek for the items. After the contribution system, however, I don't really see reasons why people won't do raids: instead of finisher only getting 500k exp for finish, everyone now gets to claim their exp/gold reward with the drops. It has become much more newbie-friendly and motivating than the winner-takes-all.
  
  I do feel that less populated servers like Tarlach or Ruairi have hard time organizing raids, but that doesn't mean the raids are useless, time-consuming, or not rewarding. Raid rewards are still good amount of $$, and you can socialize more if you do raids-- that's how I met most of my Alexina friends and Parody members.

  encore burn is like 500k on ruairi too and really gator doesn't drop encore that often, not rly worth it
  
  solo ES is about 4-6m on ruairi.. pretty much dd would be the only raid worth attending but on regular days, waiting for a spawn and keeping an eye on all the channels is pretty annoying.. solo not that common from dd either
  
  again, if you think about it, 400k an hour is pretty bad... on ruairi nx sells for 2-2.5, even 3 per 10k, 400k per hour is like $2 an hour at best lol

  Also, as exp multipliers from events rise, NPC dwindles in efficiency, it is actually pretty shitty to run NPC on 2-3x when you can buy a 2x pot.

  I think people are just unaware of it. And if they were they'd like to keep it to themselves... But all of it is very real anyway.

  What makes it better than BFT2? I would think the 16 switches would make it slower.
