blank friend list

  sometimes my friend list/guild is getting blank i cant see whos on and everyone see me as logged off anyone know how to fix it?

  Double click on the groups to reveal them. For example, the default group is Etc. so double click that and it'll show your friends again. Same with the guild list I'd assume.

  I dont know the exact solution, for me its a random problem that comes and goes once in a while. Try relogging, rebooting, if that fails just wait it out, should be gone by the next day. Sorry I cant help any more than that

  Sometimes it likes to glitch, the only solution I have is to relog. Changing channels may also work.

  I think it's caused by lag though. I only encountered this problem whenever my connection lags horribly. I think what happens is your Nexon messenger fails to connect due to lag.
  
  Same thing can happen with Vindictus, I found out.

  If you go to the guild part of your chat, and close it without going back to your normal friends, it will glitch and you won't be able to see your friends. A simple relog fixes this.

  It is not a glitch, it is not even a mistake.
  
  Friends can be organized into groups, with the default group being "ETC.". You can make and name your own groups and put friends in them, groups such as "Holy Water Suppliers", "Dungeon Buddies", "Best Friends", "Weirdos".
  
  The lists can collapse. Double clicking on the name of the group will expand or collapse the entire group, making it so that you see no one's name that belongs to that group. This is so that you can navigate quickly through several groups without having to scroll through an index of names.
  
  Sometimes, most often after changing to the guild list and changing back, the lists will automatically collapse. This is not a problem and you do not need to log out or do anything other than expand it normally. Simply double-clicking the group name will expand the lists again.
  
  People who don't use the group feature often get confused because they see the ETC. at the top of their list all the time and they don't realize that it's interactive because ALL of their friends are in the ETC. group. It's even more confusing for them when they ignore the ETC. and don't see any friends at all. To them it simply looks like their entire friends list disappeared, when their list is, in fact, all there, simply collapsed as the ETC. group.
  
  Just double-click ETC. to expand the group and see your friends.

  I'm thinking you might have to re-install. There must be something wrong with that part of your client, or your system. I haven't heard of a problem like yours, and I think it's specific to you.

  This does not "glitch" it, it just closes the group. Re-Opening the groups works, but this is not what OP is talking about.

  and in your first post you said "someimes" it does it, is it doing it now?
  
  and what do you mean you can't talk with your friends?
  you mean the little chat window that pops up when you double click them on the list, right?
  you can still talk in guild chat and in whispers? Do that until you find out how to fix this, i suppose.
