Sooo.... the president is planning on bypassing congress to pass whatever laws he wants with no oversight. AKA dictator probably. who else isn't overly surprised but at the same time facepalming and starting to think there may be a second revolution happening in the near future?
For those who hadn't realized about this, he stated it in his state of the union address.

You have no idea what you are talking about. He passed an Executive order to raise the minimum wage of
federal contract workers to $10.10 which only applies to Federal contracts. Executive Orders which President's are well within their right to use.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_order#History_and_use While he can do some things he can't do everything he wants without the support of Congress that refuses to work with him on anything really.

Yes, but he's saying he's intending to increase the use of executive orders to bypass congress is what I got out of it.

Basically, he's not doing things without congress that he has to do with congress. He's doing relatively minor things that are within his given power while hoping to work with congress on the rest. That's a far, FAR cry from doing "whatever he wants."
It should be noted that this congress is the most obstructionist in history. It's not surprising, then, that the number of executive orders has risen.

Well I think part of the issue with congress is somehow politics has come to a point where being moderate is veiwed as a bad thing and you're expected to have black-and-white opinions and all.
Generally, the government is messed up no matter how you look at it.

At which point they'll go use obamacare to take care of that anal bleeding.
