I've been using my steelseries headset for almost 3 years and now I'm thinking of replacing it. What are some good headsets that are worth investing? I can probably afford till ~90s.

Headsets are terrible and I recommend you buying headphones and a separate mic.
Why? Because headsets have terrible audio for the price and are not worth it at all
Here are some headphone recommendations
Creative Aurvana Live - $75
Superlux 668B - $40 great headphone and liked amongst audiophiles and have replaceable cables.
AKG 240s $80 currently the one I use. Go on sale for about $50-$60 every few months and they are amazing for the price. only con is the cable is too long, but you can buy shorter cables or you can wrap them up like I do.
Mics
ModMic - $33 a portable mic that you can stick (and remove) from your headphone.
You can do what I do which is use my Rock Band mic if you have laying around and just buy a desktop mic stand which are about $4, if not you can buy a Rock band microphone for around $10

Personally, I recommend getting a Corsair headset if you can, especially their vengeance series. They have good quality audio and microphones.
Rosewill sets are good too if you're buying below $50.

This one's pretty good but I don't know if you're willing to go past your budget a little.
PL throw's it on the floor all the time and it just doesn't break, so seems sturdy.

I wish I could buy the Sennheider HD800 without destroying my savings. Or the nice AKG K 702 special edition whose design reminisces Schneider Optics lenses.

There was a 50 dollar one i bought 7 years ago. It broke earlier this year, i purchased a new one for 30 bucks, sounds like an investment to me, i mainly use it for skype though.
I'll look it up for you if you want.

I'd buy a pair of headphones separately. I'm using audiotechnica atm, they are pretty good for the price and I recommend them.

What model?
I'm trying to find a local seller in Montreal. I can probably get an employee's discount in Bestbuy and buy the Sennheiser Momentum. They didn't restock the ATH-M50.

I'm using ATH-M30, got them off of amazon for around 60$ and they work great for me. Only problem I have with them is after about an hour or 2 my ears start hurting. Kinda wish there was a bit more padding.

Sadly, I can't recommend a headset, as I don't have one, but for a pair of headphones, at the moment, I use Audiotechnica ATH-M50s, which I highly enjoy. Great sound quality for the price (Can catch them for around $100 when they are on sale, other wise around $200).
I used to use a pair of Bose AE2i headphones, which had great mids and highs, very clear. But with the Audiotechnica ATH-M50s, it's all clear, along with punchy bass that makes you move.
Not sure if you were strictly looking for headsets, but if you were interested in headphones, Bose, Sennheiser, and Audiotechnica are all pretty safe bets.
Hope this helped :llama_whistle:

ATH-M50 reppin' it up in this thread. The choice is clear!

The only problem that I have with the ATH-M50 is that you can't remove the cord. My soldering skills are decent, but I don't want to risk doing an ugly job.
