There doesn't seem to be anything worth going for other than crash shot fragment range. I want to keep the mana shield reforge on my bohemian band but I understand by doing that, I'm missing out on crash shot fragment damage and magnum shot damage. An Act 7 reforge on demonic handle bars seems like the best investment but I'd rather invest my money in micro-finance than blow money on getting shit to r1. As far as gunner reforges go, the best thing seems to be a way of the gun reforge on hats but I dunno if duration or attack speed is better. Shooting rush seems like something nice to get but if it's rare (>40 reforges to get on average) fak it.
Input advice? My current project is to make an r1 elemental bow but like, it's not even useful in Lord so what's the point? Shadow missions have lost the allure they once had and I don't care to grind levels anymore.
Mebe it's time to quit lol

But my comment is that if you're at the point where you would quit because you don't know what reforge to get/use, well I don't know what to say because I don't use Rank 1 Reforges and I don't really need it. If you're good in the stats mark then reforges are simply what makes Elite mobs seem like Advanced or lower leveled mobs.
Also Gunslinger and Puppetry doesn't really rely on Reforges. Reforges only makes these skillsets take less hits to defeat enemies. But notable Reforges are Shooting Rush Damage and Climactic Crash Damage, Crisis Radius. But spending reforges to get these isn't really worth it compared to getting elementals for skillsets like Melee and Archery which are more reforge reliant.

To be fair.
Shooting Rush Damage Reforge appears quite often, even with rank 1 shoes than elemental reforge.
Dual Gun Maximum Reforge on the other hand feels as rare as elemental reforge.

If you're sticking with ranged, you will need helmet and glove reforges (radius/cs damage) I suggest making another r1 glove or buying one.
If you want to do gunner you only need Gun or shoe reforge(Gunner max/Shooting rush damage) then you can keep your ms reforge
It's all up to how you want to play, and is your puppets your secondary?

Puppets used to be my secondary but ranged damage feels so low that I main puppetry for harder content now. I've heard that the crisis reforge isn't great from someone pretty good. Though I'm pretty good with positioning crisis in the first place.

+5 for every level. Level 10 gives +50 whereas lv.20 gives +100.

Each level adds 5 max for gunner damage, so level 10 adds 50 max. Getting +10 gunner max actually adds a lot.
Crisis radius imo is by far the best reforge for puppets. being able to pull everything at a wider radius leaves no stragglers. I would even trade my act 7 damage for more crisis radius.
Since you want to do ranged, I would personally get another r1 hat and glove for your ranged set. If you feel in certain situations that you don't need wide crisis radius then you can use stronger and wider crash shots. If you feel you can survive without ms reforge then you can have a stronger crash shot.
Since mabi is about trying to not get hit, would do that. However ms reforge is still useful on field bosses and other hard bosses. Thus I would keep that reforge.

What about gunner? I'm most interested in that I guess since I have 0 motivation to remake my bohemian set and field boss enchants are too damn rare on Ruairi to ever hope to get more of them >>... (Never gotten a r2 -> r1 rank up even after spending 100M on reforges lol....) I have preforged shoes and gloves which I would be willing to throw oblivion (or MAYBE solo) hence the interest in gunner stuff.

For your helmet, I would do crisis radius instead of way of the gun duration. r1 way of the gun duration is usually long enough for most bosses.
The plus side to using gunner instead of ranged is you keep your ms reforge :>

Of course, some people may say this is completely situational, but thats where CS range comes in. The added range from CS range covers twice the area of a non-reforged CS, meaning it covers almost a whole orb in a tailteann SM (if shot in the middle), it covers a whole room in tara (if shot in the middle), can hit every NPC in MA tourney (without being crisis'd first), all mobs in cavern, etc. Basically, every situation where you'd be using your gear in, CS with its range reforge will be enough to hit everything.
If not using range then crisis range is pretty awesome, consider using the title as well (basically a free lvl10 cs range reforge), or if you want to crisis stuff far far away the title+reforge stack (adds 1.5m range which is pretty crazy).

Crash shot always feels like low damage unless it crits but I'd prefer that to dying more often [S](though I still die a lot IMO)[/S]. And tbh, I can't bring myself to spend any more than ranking my headgear to r2 so I guess I'll just go for the crisis reforge around level 10. Though I could just buy a shamaness hairband maybe instead. Is the crisis reforge rare? (I've heard it is...)

It's not, range difference is minimal. There's a video of a korean with lv 20 range reforge and the change is comparable to ranking wm from r5 to 1.
Crisis wise that would grab you one more npc (considering that spreaded V formation, forgot which group spawns like that), totally not worth the money to get a hat to r1(if not premade) and reforge for max roll.

Okay this is what I originally thought when I tested a level 3 range accessory with my leader only to find that there was literally no fucking difference in the range LOL

I'm not sure how effective crisis range reforge is (never did the math) but with NPC tail round i can usually pull in except 1 or 2 left out (level 17..or 18, I forget) with master title.
Crash shot range reforge is really OP I think. Super rare though.
For puppets, since act 7 already fucks shit up, gaining the dmg reforge is really necessary unless you're always running harder content. Personally I liked act 6 and act 4 damage reforge; it really boosts your overall "practical" dmg (act 7 gets interrupted quite often in my experience).
