  It was via a cutscene and it's on nexon's site but it's referred to as Quasar which is what Cessair's Heart was in KR (Quasar's Heart) It's just that NA never fixed their translation of that on their website to match up. Here is an excerpt on that:

  The one who was chosen as the Gold Dragon’s Conductor was Quasar, who was from a noble family.
  
  Quasar’s darkness swallowed up the Gold Dragon

  Yeah but they don't mention it in Saga 2? There's yet to be any direct evidence that connects the Cessair mentioned in G8 and G10 to the Cessair organization in Saga, and its been spewing doubt that they are related.

  the fact that she controlled the Gold Dragon in Episode 6, I think is clear enough proof of her past as the dragon Conductor. Not just anyone can summon forth a Gold Dragon you know.

  Being able to control a dragon does not mean you are the dragon conductor, nor does being the dragon conductor mean you are able to control dragons. Don't make links between two things when there is no evidence suggesting the two is link other than assumptions that would close plot holes.

  It had been bugging me for awhile, but it felt like when I redid the C1 mainstream that they retconned a lot of stuff during the revamp to try and make that horrible C4 seem credible. Was Cessair always mentioned in C2 or is that them retroactively slipping stuff in again?

  So basically, there was a great flood in Iria, after which she was chosen as conductor to try and restore order, but was either evil or had some sort of darkness inside her which corrupted the Gold Dragon causing it to rain destruction upon Iria for years until Neamhain got off her ass and gave the elves and giants the power to stand against the dragons? Now Quasar/Cessair is somehow back causing shit a thousand years later? Is that the story so far?

  There was references to the Cessair, as well as the heroes from Vindictus, in Zardine stuff since before C4 even. It was not retconned in afterward, and I'm pretty sure they never touched G7~8 since G9, which is a shame because their rewards suck.

  To my understanding, you don't have to be dark or evil to make the dragon evil. Atrata wasn't evil but her summoning the dragon would make the dragon evil.
  [SPOILER="Speculation"]I think it moreso matters if the person you choose to conduct is the right person or the wrong person. The person might be a good person, but if (s)he is not meant to conduct the dragon and (s)he does, then the dragon will be evil even if the person was good.[/SPOILER]
