What the fuck is with this game? I've heard 3-4 stories about people getting murdered over it, and now apparently it got removed from the iphone's app store or something and an iphone with it installed is going for $80,000 on eBay because people can't download it any more.

^I'm not even fucking joking.

I don't know about any deaths, but the developer is a kid who is caving under the internet's critique.

What critique? Apparently everyone loves it. I know more people that play it than any other game. Lmao

There is hate and love when something becomes popular. Humans have a tendency to look at the bad comments over the good ones.

Also, here's one of the stories about the murders.

He stabbed his brother 17 times because he beat his high score. I don't want to play a game that is so addictive it makes you murder your brother and pay $80,000 for a phone. xD

"17 year old brother"
"17 stabs"
"High score of 17"
Meh.
On another note, there's always people poking fun at games that get developed, there's been tons of other games that people have ragequit videos about.
I can understand that the developer of Flappy Bird just didn't want that to happen to his game and decided to take it down.
Seems like everyone wants a piece of that, now:

I never did get these overly popular mobile games like Candy Crush, Angry Bird, Flappy Bird. Haven't touched any of them, and I'm quite glad I haven't. Dear Lord, people are way too obsessed over these mobile games.

Conjecture with 100% no basis.

Btw with a quick google search I found the murders is fake and more likely than not, the eBay bids
He removed the game because it the upkeep annoyed him, it was too hard to deal with and he had already made enough to never work again

Maybe the $80,000 one was fake, but I have a hard time imagining the other 500+ being sold for hundreds/thousands are all fake. xD
Also now he's getting spammed with public death threats from people demanding that he put it back up. xD
