From what I'm hearing devcat apparently has been working on an Iria Renewal for over 2 years which is why KR hasn't had any significant game content cause apparently it takes them 3-4 years just to renew Iria >.>
Needless to say, Korean players are getting upset and Devcat is getting upset at them cause they're all like, "Well you guys said you wanted the Iria Renewal."

Could also use an update of the older Uladh maps for flight, new spirit weapons (shirtless cowboys for guns, ladies?), etc.

Ughh.. I should make a thread rant for how devcat handles their renewals.

Current Spirit weapons, for the most part, are lack luster compared to Special upgraded weapons, which is disheartening.
Current useful egos
Firewand
Earthquake Cylinder
I don't get why Fire wand egos are useful. Could you or anyone explain why?

The max you gain on them add into firebolt's base damage from what i've gathered, which is also multiplied by 6.5 with chaincasting.

Or just remove the BDK Bow and sword.
Those two already made the ego bows/swords pointless.

Not completely pointless, they still cost an arm and leg to repair, plus edern screws up a lot.
My ego HLC, only 100k/60dura to repair.

Compared to the cost to make them worth the trouble, the repair fee is miniscule.

I'd have to agree with this. I've already spent 10m and I'm still don't have any stat over level 40 on my ego.
Considering how a BDK r1 bow can easily be purchased at that price, that would be a better option.
Although the egos are good for their daily blessings... *coff* mods *coff*

So the three main usage complaints are...
1 - Way too slow to raise versus other things nowadays.
2 - Most will cap lower than other methods even after all the work because getting them to 50 is a drag.
3 - Repair needs a lot of extra time and steps compared to anything else.
Is that right?
Well how about...
1 - Quadruple the EXP gain (and EXP caps) per item/level. To people who have never raised a spirit weapon or haven't done it in ages, they take so long that with the way Mabi is nowadays they'd need a much much faster growth rate to even be considered, with how fast it is to get as strong or stronger with artisans and special upgrades and junk on normal weapons (and even with quadruple I assume they'd still take more time/effort of course).
2 - I was originally temped to say "raise the level cap", but it looks to me like a spirit weapon at all level 50 is really powerful already (the issue is getting there), so if ~30 is doable by the average player with a grind to 50 doable by long-term players... I don't think the caps would need to be touched if they were faster to raise. The existing other benefits to spirits (CC, range) will still be a nice bonus and obtainable quicker.
3 - Remove the need for the ancient spirit fossil in the potion. Keep the white herb, those are still uncommon enough that you'd need to go hunt one out, but there's more sources of them nowadays so it's not as bad as it was a while ago. However as far as the money/time investment elsewhere (the requirement for a 100% dura replacement), I'm not entirely sure what to suggest... the potion activates a semi-normal repair screen and while in there the repairs cost the 98% cost with 100% chance? Since a 100 prof weapon is 100% repair chance anyways.

I think making it every 15 social = 1 red step would balance it out easily lvl 50 = step 5 all lvl 50= step 6 I personally think this would be the best option

This isnt really an issue just a byproduct of the fact that all that hard work put into it is almost wasted in the end. If it was worth the effort by a lot then by all means make it take a while and make the cost be very high.

for those that passively and efficently raise their ego, it shouldnt cost too much to lvl it ...
just look at the amount of potential ego food we can obtain from event. Lots of useless totems from doki doki event. Shit ton of gems and market is saturated with gem powders, etc etc etc
