oldest was a coin from 2000
well if ignore the 1955 penny which the government has discontinued the use of and have just started collecting giving nothing back in return

i still have the pennies ...
and they is not rare yet is still thousands of them in circulation the government is just snatching them up as people try to use them to pay for stuff cashiers say they no longer in use get put some where and eventually mailed to the government or destroyed
