  Being strongly opinionated and uninformed at the same time is not a good combination. :( Do check the stuff I posted earlier and watch TLC's video, it would explain some things.
  
  Either way, I'm more interested about the referendum vote going on right now. Apparently there was a 44% turnout in just the first 6 hours since polling stations were opened. A major landslide vote in favour of re-joining Russia is expected. Some are also voting in favour of not re-joining Russia, but still want greater autonomy from Kiev and its illegal government.

  Russian news agencies say around 93% of people who took part in the referendum in Crimea voted in favour of joining Russia.

  Oh, it doesn't make it alright. That picture was more directed to the reaction many American citizens have about the events, and thus the hypocrisy about it. Where they don't bat an eye when their own government does something, but the moment a foreign power acts in the same way, it's suddenly such a horrible thing now.
