Hello,
this is the Mabinogi team.
There's a temporary school built in Tir Chonail!
Apparently, the school is in short of hands, and needs help from Milletians~
Please be the teachers of hopes of Erinn, the children of Erinn!
2/20 to 3/05
Try to meet the teacher of the temporary school, next to Tir Chonail's school.
You will be allowed to help with teaching once per Erinn day, from 7:00~20:00.
If you have the randomly selected skill, after teaching the skill, you will be rewarded with skill exp (+5 Exp) (gasp!)
If you don't have the skill, rank novice, or rank 1, you will be provided with exp plus potion (4k - 8k Experience Pot. NOT a skill training potion).
[Notes]
You're allowed to participate once per Erinn day from 7 to 20. (stated before)
The skill exp will be rewarded even after your exp is over 100. So be sure to rank your skill beforehand!
If you have more than 21 items in your temp inv, you won't get the exp potion.
The exp potion cannot be traded.
KR's original advert for it has vanished unfournately. Just wanted to share this with you guys! Also appears that I missed the event by a single day, just noticed it this morning :(

Well from what I found out, it only gives +5 skill training exp and it's completely random on which skill it'll pick. So that's the one downside to this event.

Oh lord, any skill. So ridiculous then lol

Only 5.. What good is that. If it was like 50 it would give me an actual reason to log on but whatever. 5 full points. Wow, that's so insignificant in skill training that I can't wrap my head around this..

50 per in-game day? You'd cap every single skill by the time the event ends by just half-afking by the event area. 5 is pretty generous considering you can spam this all day long.

Still better than nothing.
5 point is pretty significant for skills like hilwen engineering.
This will probably benefit newer players more than old, as they'll have narrower pool of skills.

Ugh. That killed my hopes.

I agree. It'll be good training for alts.

This. The event is as well balanced as devcat can make it if you think about it in this regard.

So if the skill is rN or r1 you get no training but you get an experience potion? How much exp?

Wow. That's actually such a major turn off. (I have way too many rN skills that I won't be using anytime soon.)[/FONT]

Wait, you can do it more than once per day? Oh, my bad its alright then.

I don't think it'll help newbies at all if I understood correctly. The pool of skills is not based on what you have, so if you don't have the skill at all you get nothing?

If you don't have it or don't have it at the right rank, you will get a double skill training pot if I read correctly. So it's best for newbies. If you have the skill, then I am lead to assume you get 5 points of training for that skill. Granted it could be any skill, including one you are already done with.

Actually, it gives an Experience Potion, not a training potion. As in level up experience.
