Hi guys!
What are some appropriate anime shows? I know Lucky Star, but it's kind of boring in my opinion.
Little-no blood
No mature content

In no particular order: Samurai Flamenco, Hanusaku Iroha, Uchuu Kyoudai, Mawaru Penguindrum, "Yakitate!!! Japan" (quotes because it's the entire title), Nagi no Asukara, Log Horizon, Tanken Driland, Kannagi, Natsume Yuujinchou (is 3 seasons). Ano Hana has someone who dies (before the setting of the story) but it is known for making people sad and stuff. K-On, Azumanga Daioh, Seto no Hanayome (gag anime... if you're strict on no kind of sexual reference or harem, not this one), A Channel, Shinryaku Ika Musume.
In the case of Gintama, early in the series Gin suffered a bloody wound on the shoulder from a sword, and the series despite being a gag comedy has several interjections of serious, mature action plots (although is little in comparison to the percent of just comedy episodes). Besides that it's a ton of comedy, gag, and parodies.
Some childrens' ones but still relaxing in their own way: Doraemon, Folktales from Japan, Gon, Hamtaro, Digimon.
Movies: Summer Wars, My Neighbor Totoro (and other Miyazaki films like Ponyo, but some like Mononoke are bloody or war related)
It's not technically an anime since it was made in USA and is in English language despite having anime-style art, Avatar: the Last Airbender, and Avatar: The Legend of Korra.
P.S. Perhaps you can clarify more on mature content: I'm pretty sure no ecchi allowed, but what about minor innuendo from gag comedies? Harems? What's your stance on action, whether personal (sword fights) or impersonal (giant mechas)? What if the shows have mature-level emotional thoughts on the audience (like Ano Hana, or Clannad)?

I honestly can't think of a single good anime without blood or mature content. Uh.. Unless you're under 10, then there are a ton of kid's animes that you might enjoy. My Neighbor Totoro is a good one for young children. I think Little Nemo is considered an anime, that one's pretty good for kids but it can be a little spooky at parts, so if you get nightmares easily I'd avoid it..

Oh boy, you definitely want to avoid Attack on Titan.
Not sure which anime has no pint of blood nor mature content...

Pokémon, or anything that 4kids got their hands on and ruined.

Oh yeah. I didn't even think of that. 4kids censors everything into unwatchable garbage, so anything from 4kids would be totally free of blood or mature content.

Girls Und Panzer.
Girls.
Tanks.
What more could you want? I also don't think it has any blood, and there is one scene in the entire series where one of the girls is in a bikini, that's the limit of the mature content you will find in it.

This series is actually really good. I was genuinely surprised, because I was expecting another K-On cash in clone.
10/10 cannot wait for next season

You could check out Cardfight! vanguard. There's no blood at all and there's really nothing about it that could even creep you out either. It's got an awesome soundtrack and stuff too. ^^
...it might start off a little slow at first, but character development beats a certain other show by far (*cough*Yugioh*cough).
So yeah....you should check it out! :cheer:
I don't think anyone even uses profanity in it nor any mature jokes.

Yeeeah, sadly even though One Piece isn't really bloody,it has enough that I think the OP would say no to it. Especially since some parts later on in One Piece are kinda intense.
So yeah,I guess Cardfight! and Pokemon are safest then.

Shirokuma Cafe, Usagi Drop (haven't watched this one, read a summary?), Acchi Kocchi, Moyashimon (2 seasons), Nichijou, Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai!, Ookami-san To Shichinin No Nakama-tachi, Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuuutsu, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Sakurasou No Pet Na Kanojo (has some ecchi), Kaichou Wa Maid-sama!
A lot of the mainstream anime (Naruto, One Piece, Shingeki no Kyojin, SAO's first half) tend to have action and some amount of blood, aimed at teenage boys (shounen). It's not always the case, but you'll probably need to look around for the more obscure animes like these, or ones under the shoujo types (teen girl) and the like.

Pretty much nothing. You might as well not watch anime at all since you'll be missing out on some of the best stuff.
