Blade and Soul is getting its own anime O_o

  Blade and Soul is that one game with the crazy character creation where you can adjust the "sweat" or "glisten" on the skin as well as make the females look....very abnormal.

  I played the chinese version, I don't think there are sweat options XD.
  
  The story is pretty good though. You are a student of a martial art school, said school's martial art was undefeated some twenty years ago but for some reason the fame died down but there are still those who wish to learn it and you are the newest member. And on the day of your official acceptance, three people came and murdered everyone except you, in order to save your life, your teacher gave up the school's treasure and then was killed. The bad guy then burned you with a special martial art she developed called "ink spirit fire", it is said no one who was burned by it can survive for long. You then got kicked from a cliff and dropped into the bottom of the ocean, you would be dead, except some mysterious woman in white saved you...
  
  Anyway I am intrigued by the anime, will probably check it out.

  And wat she curses u with is called Scar of Dark Flower (or at least thats the korean translation).
  
  I've actually watched the storyline in korean with subs since I was curious, its a really good story imo and is tear-jerking ending. I love the game personally, I just hate the fking lag because it is ping based reaction timing combat.

  A lot of these popular Korean MMORPGs get their own anime adaptation; it happened with DFO, Maplestory(this one doesn't really count though), and some other MMOs as well. A bit surprised to see Blade and Soul coming up on this list though.

  B&S reminds me of those chinese wuxia tv shows I use to watch as a kid, I hope they capture that spirit in the anime.

  Mabi needs an anime, all the mainstreams + saga are some of the best video game plots I've seen. Most MMOs just cook up something as an excuse to make a game.

  Yeah, I saw some wildstar beta footage... the plot is just... garbage. And they have the audacity to make it pay to play...

  For some reason I think a Mabinogi anime would turn out like the DFO one did. I'm probably one of the few who liked everything about the Arad Senki Slap Up Party. :P
  
  But yeah,it's one thing for an MMO to get an anime,but an entirely different case for the anime to actually be GOOD...if it's 'ok' people probably won't even think to sub all the episodes into english. >_>
