No because I don't get the finish most of the time. Others do. But when too many people come to bosses they mess up the aggro patterns 9/10 and then NO one kills them at which point we all lose exp blessings and time. Nied is one thing since you can't mess it up. The rest are another story.
This.
At least on Ruairi, even though there's 3-4 guilds who regularly know the times and compete over the finishes, it's generally a friendly (or at worst - neutral) environment. Everybody knows what to do and how to execute the kill efficiently, and having random people come in to reset the aggro and get everybody flattened doesn't really help anybody.

How to find out if you want to make these things public or not:
1. Go to RD and DD spawn
2. Observe the 300+ people that attended
3. Find out if you like the graphics lag or internet lag you might get from the huge amount of people attending these spawns
4. Think about if you want to see this type of crowdedness at every spawn or every boss you attend

I know most of us might hate this, but a public chart is somewhere in the future.
It's sorta inevitable. People will keep getting curious, camp the spawns, and soon that 3~4 guilds on ruairi will double and grow.

Yeah...A Spawn Chart is Best for everyone that doesn't like to do the math, or get any expensive item with the effort of backup. The spawn chart is good for everyone and will make all the prices drop for heaven sakes...We don't need them to be rising, from all of the Guilds that know when the spawn times are...Even though I usually go to the Spawns, its still outrageous the way people act. If you see something rare by you, click it, they rant. LIKE OMG WTH BDFO MY ITEM HOE. ;; Seriously goddam Spawn times are the best for all the fashionista's (Like me) And the well being of the Mabinogi Economy

There's no such balance between a few people knowing what to do to actually make a field boss kill run as smoothly and efficiently as possible...
And when those same people just want to monopolize the market they're after to be rich and/or strong.
Both are good reasons. Why should a lot of people come in and add to lag and aggro confusion, risking so many deaths and screwups? Then again, why should there only be a few number of people who get to have such good EXP and item drops?
Either way, defending either side doesn't make it any better.

The problem is that these guilds (and I know which you're referring to, I think) tend to make it a pain to get anything. I know how to fight the field bosses, but most of the time by the time I get to one it's been destroyed and looted-- just a handful of minutes after it first spawns. Having random players who've never fought anything with Advanced Heavy Stander rush in doesn't help, but it's somewhat unfair for a few guilds to have total monopoly on bosses.
A predictive timer helps a lot for the simple reason that those of us who aren't in a massive guild get a chance to be there when it spawns so we can land a few hits before it gets killed, even if it does increase the risk of people who don't know what they're doing showing up.

I've never seen anyone fighting Ifrit even though I see him wandering around the desert sometimes. I did see some random elf come up and try to shoot him then get whacked, nothing after that though.

On the contrary, we NEED the bosses to go down that fast. Even when we collectively kill the bosses in 5-10 minutes, there's still many times that Lion or Prarie Dragon gets away.
As far as having a public timer, if you really wanted to do field bosses you could have figured it out on your own. It's not like the guilds who had the charts before now just had somebody hand it to them, we had to do the figuring out for ourselves.

Yea, some people may think it unfair, but if you really wanted to figure it out for yourself, you'd do what these other "big guilds" are doing and also find these things out for yourself. The truth is, as it is, it's always been fair to everyone in that EVERYONE has the opportunity to find these things out for themselves. These people who found these times out didn't just lie around on their bed and went "Voila! I know when the next spawn is!", it took hard work and dedication to find these things out, and compared to the person who worked their butt off to find out these times to the one who did minimal work where all they have to do is look at a timer, who is it unfair to now?

Most of those people got the math from other foreign servers.
Hell over 80% of our wiki is taken from foreign servers.
NA has it easy compared to anyone else.
